Hey guys, i'm an Aussie and new to the forums. Can't believe I havent heard of SBR earlier..AWESOME site! I believe through patience, skill and a will to learn, gambling can be profitable. I am keen to further develop my own skills via SBR. If anybody is interested i'm usually pretty good at tipping NBA results. If you'd like to see my tips I've just started up my own NBA thread 'Jubjub's picks!' specialising in NBA match handicaps. I've gone 3-1 since documenting my tips beginning yesterday, which is close to an average for me. I'm on a 3 match winning streak, so let's see how far this thing can roll!

    Pacers -9.5 (2x)

The Pacers are looking pretty sweet right now, coming out of their hardest part of the season so far against 5 tough teams and managing to come away with 3/5 games which includes 2/3 on a back to back to back schedule against Chicaco, Boston and Orlando. Now they have had a few days rest and are back home to look to continue improving their record. The Nets are so injury riddled and they got destroyed by the Raptors last game and I don't see how the Pacers cant do the same thing. David West should get going alongside the other bigs of Indiana, the only way the Nets will cover is if Williams has a huge game.

Bit of a scary finish but some poor shooting by Nate Rob down the stretch helped this cash.

hey mate, i don't really know to be honest. I mean i'm running pretty hot in the NBA right now and my goal is to have a winning record at the end of the season.

I've never really had a moment in my life where i lose every bet for a long period or win for a long period

its a really tough game to call, even the over/under is tough. you'd expect the teams to step up the defense and for both teams to play hard like its the final, but then again its the NBL and if amazing happens in the NBA then double that for the NBL...

The Breakers might be a play, quite a small line and looking to revenge a loss.

A live bet could be the way to go with this game in my opinion.

I may not play anything since I won't be around to live bet it even.

I like the under because I expect a tough playoff type intensity but both teams have plenty of scoring weapons. This league is a crapshoot probably best not to bet it at all.

Good to see you making cash in this thread my man

true, if you dont really feel any edge its always best to give it a miss...

i'll play the game just out of pure action and enjoyment

i don't plan on putting anything more than 2 units on an NBL game anymore

nba is getting me cash so i'll keep focusing on that!

cheers mate, hopefully i can pick a few more winners - tomorrows card looks juicy

Staying away from Breakers game also. I see value in Hawks +7.5 start v Blaze, and i'm a Blaze fan...

VERY juicy card on offer tomorrow. On first glance i like Spurs Wolves and Blazers to cover the starts.

    Thoughts?

Hawks have been playing decent ball for some unknown reason, the Blaze have been having injury troubles...not a bad idea...to be honest i'm not really paying much focus to NBL and focusing on NBA...i feel thats where the money is...

Not sure I like the Spurs, Houston are 2-1 against them so far in the series, both wins were at home however I feel Houston have what it takes and will be looking to collect some much needed road wins. If you want to get to the play offs you need to win on the road. That been said the Spurs play great at home, so for me it's a game i dont like the look of.

I really like the Wolves, the Pacers were sloppy today vs the Nets and I think the rested Wolves will be trouble for Indiana. Not sure about the Blazers, the Bobcats have been getting beaten up for awhile and they are horrible, the Blazers will be looking to get back on track and continue their great run at home but i feel like there are better games.

I personally think there is good value in Dallas, OKC on a b2b and Dallas have been owning OKC lately covering the spreads every time and creaming them last time they played at home. I also like the look of the Bulls as square as it may be. Interested to see the line for the Hornets too, if Nash is out they should cream the Suns, also depending on the line the Raptors look like a decent play fading Celts on a B2B

    Miami -2 (8x)

Been waiting ages for this game/line, Miami dominates the Sixers and they will be motivated to get back on track.

    Orlando -7 (3x)

I just think Orlando will own the Cavs here.

    good luck all

Nice man. Agree with you on Miami but Magic, i'm not so sure. I like Rockets back at home to tear Suns a new one.
