Predicting Basketball Totals

Does anyone have a formula for predicting college and pro basketball totals? I'm kinda new at this, so if you guys already talked about it on this forum please direct me to that thread. Doing a search in this forum didn't do much help.

Find totals that a team has never had before then do the opposite of what public perception is. You won't find them every day but they are great when you do find them.
