As for today's SPs, I'm on board for all of them as usual, lol. We all know that they've seen better days. But some trends that stand out in favour of the SPs:

-It makes sense that the SPs cash more often when the favourite is at home. With a stadium full of your hometown fans cheering for you, it must relieve some of the pressure to make baskets.

-WEEKDAYS! I'm not sure what the record was last week, but I was 3-0 for SPs during the weekdays and a gruesome 2-5 on the Weekend. Maybe these college kids are distracted by looking forward to the afterparties and post-game sex?

Tonight we have four SPs on tap. All of them are home teams. It's time to get some of that weekend money back.

    LOL.....well I think that's kinda what I'm doing (minus Non's college plays).

    1. Everybody agrees on the SPs
    2. Everybody seems to agree on Bulls, Nuggets, Heat, and Mavs.
    3. Everybody agrees to Hockeytown's picks.

    What's a brutha to do??

Okay........I appreciate it. I will do that in my next post. But I just need a little encouraging with the SPs first. I started playing them on Monday (Feb. 2) and did quite well them that whole week until BLACK Saturday or Sunday (can't remember which day it was). I held my head up and kept playing them the following week and started making a comeback only to get smacked back down again this past weekend. I really do believe in them and I'm trying not to "over-think" them, but after looking at them closer tonight I found this:

Temple -14.5 (No previous game btwn them this year, so it's okay)
UNC -11 (UNC won by 12 in the 1st H @ NC St., so it's barely okay)
Kansas -10 (KU won by 6 in the 1st H @ ISU, so it's scary)
    Memphis - 14.5 (Mem won by 5 in the 1st H @ SMU, so it's scary)

I hate to be such a wusss....but man, when these things get me, they get me good. They put on one of those black leather masks and spank me with that leather whip until my arse starts bleeding. Oh wait.....that's my wife that does that....nevermind.

    Warriors +5

Considering playing the Bobcats -5. They owe the Pacers some revenge after a loss in January. Despite losing Wallace to an injury, the Bobcats have once again started covering spreads (four in a row). Now that Wallace has shaken off his rust and is back in the line-up, I can see the Bobcats getting the win tonight. CK, what's Styles stand on this game?

She is playing Indiana because the Bobcats played in overtime yesterday against the Magic

if bets suck seems like if u pick three teams the first one will lose and the last two will win but you still lose

No secret plays for me guys. Two brutal Saturdays cured me of that. Hockeycentral has the hot hand, so I'll be tailing.

Lemon - 1st of all, you crack me the F up - keep that attitude at all times - it's hysterical...

If you aren't feeling the card tonight and nothing is jumping out at you - just decrease the amount you bet for one night, just dabble a bit - make the SP's a small play, grab the consensus games on the NBA card and make a moderate play - but keep EVERYTHING to less than half of what you normally bet...play hockeytowns picks moderate or small (whatever you feel), but also parlay all three - I know parlays are BIG NO NO - but, hockeytown hits at least one 3-0 night a week...

Just spread it out...make it a slow night tonight

lol............thanks Bezerk.......I think I might try that, depending on this "if" bet that Htown's talking about.....I've never done one of those and I don't know how it works.....but if it sounds decent, I might try it. I appreciate all of the feedback as always.

I usually do a CBB pick a night. I'm currently 2-1 on them, not a great record, but have to start somewhere!

Tonight I'm liking James Madison plus the points. Some Stats :

James Madison is 8-1 ATS in Road Games
Hofstra is 5-4 ATS at Home.

James Madison : 70.9 PPG on the road
James Madison : 69 PPG Allowed on the Road

Hofstra : 62.4 PPG at Home
Hofstra : 58.5 PPG allowed at home.

Hofstra is a tough defensive player at home, JM has played them tough all year, losing both games by 1 point. Line is currently 3.5, I'm liking the hook BOL if you play. Let's hope for 3-1.

    Puck parlay - NYR, MON/WAS over 6, and DET/NASH over 5.5

missed the game, but read the suns scored 90 in the paint??? goood lord!!!

can LAC w/out camby-kaman-and just confirmed Z-bo expect to change that fate? Suns frontcourt will have another layup drill. seriously considering making this one my ONLY play tonight.
Portland still intrigues me, as Memphis sucks on the road and they proved it last night. Portland, much like Utah is an elite team when in their building. this should be a route - no Oden is bothering me a bit though-

PHO -7.5 No more Porter freedom fest continues, suns shine - This one's on the docket!

BLAZERS -11 memphis, memphis, memphis... strongly considering

been lurking on this thread for a while and have been good with the SPs and loving Hockeytowns picks recently.

    Tonight i'm parlaying

    2 team parlay (SPs)
    Kansas -10 1H
    Temple -14.5 1H

    2 Team Parlay (Hockeytown's Overs)
    Nash/Det Over 5.5
    Mont/Wash Over 6

And I am liking the suns back in the run and gun style. Clips will be without Randolph, Camby is questionable and I saw somewhere that Kaman might need another 2 weeks. The suns shot such a high percentage last night because they dominated the paint with dunks and easy layups. They should get out like they did last night, so I am rollling with

    Suns -4.5 1H.

    Hi all,

Have been looking at this website for about a year now, and been following CK´s plays a lot of the last two months, thought it was about time to join and throw in my two cents worth.

One pick from me in NBA tonight:
Chicago -1.5 to beat Bucks WIN
odds are 1.91 (sorry American odds confuse me!)

Why? Every talented capper on here in on the Bulls, Bucks are on a b2b, and Bulls were starting to play great before all-star break and should continue tonight :-)
