    Default East +4,5

They won last year and now they have a better team, so I go for EAST ML and EAST +4,5

WOW, I am an east guy and you guys are on crack if you think the east is clearly better. First of all Kobe is the best player in the game, and as for Howard and Wade don't you think Chris Paul and Duncan are formidable to match up? The West has a much deeper bench and Stoudemire is an excellent player who lost his motivation on a terrible Phoenix team that has no chemistry. I would be very surprised to see the east win this game and feel the west will roll.

Chris Paul didn't play last two weeks. If Lebron, wade and Howard combine 100 points or more, then bench won't make much difference.

i think the east cares more because they are mostly young guys, while the west is older guys who have been a bunch of times... kind of like east and the points

Man, this sounds so funny... You guys are trying to cap an NBA ALL STAR GAME.

Hey who do you think is going to win the United States Presidency in 2024. Okay let's be positive, at least one of you will be right. Ohh. unless you both get killed on the point spread!

Alright then f*$% it I'm with you! Who are we backing?

My pick would have to be the East Point Spread +4.5 and a small wager on Nate Robinson in the Slam Dunk Contest +500..(JustInCase) Okay Believe, I like J.R Smith 2 he does get up.

If you're betting on it definitely East. They have the young guys who might be motivated to win and have big time scoring in the SL, not to mention you're getting points.

I wouldn't bet on Robinson as I don't really think he has any chance at winning. I think it comes down to Smith and Howard and am leaning to Smith because at Howard's size there aren't really any new dunks he can do that he hasn't already.

Believe Scoring in the S.L.....? My reasoning behind Nate is that when the little guys do semi-extraordinary things it turns into Spud Webbesk... and impresses the judges.
by the way I watched this special on Howard and he was trying out these new dunks, and he explained why he doesn't hang on the rim.

    SL = Starting Lineup

I just don't think people like Robinson in this, especially after last year when it took him forever and he's already entered the event twice (won once), so I doubt he has anything new.

lol I think maybe in the history of the NBA all star game or not, maybe never or almost never have 3 players scored 100 for one team unless someone like Kobe scores 81!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are overrating these east players, do you guys watch games between Orlando and west teams or Cleveland and west teams? Lebron and Howard dominate in the east where there are awful awful awful teams to beat up on, not as much in the west where they struggle more often. According to you guys the east just way outclasses the west all stars and line should be east minus 10 or more!!! I guess you guys are smarter than the linesmakers!!!

exactly.....degenerates.... I was guilty about 3 years ago when I tried to bet on who would win the slam dunk contest..very dumb and my wager was minimal. but this is why i would never recommend it..... stupid stuff like this. I took Andre Iggy over all other..... He was by far the best. Only to lose to Nate "the shrimp" robinson. Who I rather like but the sole reason he won was b/c he is a shrimp and a half. Don't bet all star.....Save your roll for game that you can actually cap! P'nP

if you bet small for action, no big deal and it isn't that difficult to cap this game, they do stay competitive.

yea but if its all about money management. then even a small action bet is stupid. im here cause i like to put a rubber band around a fat roll of ben franklins. nothing short. if you wanna tilt try a casino

last few years since LJ and wade plays at all star, east been winning like last year.

on dunking contest. advantage on howard cause at the final round its judged to text and internet who will win. Howard is the leading vote getter this all star. although its +180 only. But will not bet on it. Damn judges couldnt grade honestly and justly.

west has height advantage, east favored in youth and athletism. hoping public will pound on the west so line will be better for the east

WOW, it is not stupid to make say a half unit or even a quarter unit wager on the game for action idiot, even if technically it is a mistake you still can win. It's pretty damn close to a 50/50 bet and with paying small vig if you lose it can maybe be in the long run a 2 to 3 percent error. If you bet close to 1000 games a year in various sports than 1 small error of a couple percent is of no significance!!

take a peak at what Orlando has done agains WEST teams ;-) I believe they are something like 17-8 against the west ;-) Also as far as you saying awful awful teams in the east.. Keep in mind 3 of the TOP FOUR teams record wise are in the East.

Yes, 3 of the top 4 teams are in the east, I agree but after that they are awful and overall from top to bottom the west is better!! A 500 team will make playoffs in east and not even close in the west.
