Ridiculous comeback in San Antonio... Dallas just got outplayed tonight without Odom/Haywood. Both the Rockets and Mavs suffered from a couple of no-calls down the stretch.

Gut instinct, I think the Nuggets win. But I got home late today and didn't really put much thought into it.

Isaiah Thomas is such a solid player to be coming off the bench. That block on Wes Matthews was unreal for a guy that stands only 5'9"

Sac town really needs that kind of energy off the bench.
What's you stand between Por and sac tonight?

Don't sleep on the resurgent Kings. Their talent level far exceeds their W-L record, owing to an extremely tough early schedule and injuries. Their next three games are all very winnable games (and will probably have favourable lines), and with Marcus Thornton back in the lineup, they're looking solid.

I should have joined you on this one, MT. Barring a miracle for the Clippers, the Nuggets are looking great.

I didn't think I was going to get to watch it today, but I'm home early. I had intended to wait and see how the first quarter went, hoping Miami built an early lead. As it stands, I think the Sixers win it and I'm just going to lurk on live betting and hope the Heat take a 7+ point lead into a timeout, giving more value on the Sixers. Maybe Sixers 2H if the live line doesn't emerge in the 2Q.

    I want Sixers +5.5 and/or ML +225

Loving the Celtics tonight....But I may take your above strategy and hope for something less that -6.5 in live betting. Any thoughts on that game?

I think Boston takes the 2H, but I'm not watching that one closely. I'm going to wait and see how long the Knicks hang around. Looking hard at Dallas right now.

What the hell, Dallas... Double digit loss at home on Friday night? And allowing Paul George to go 7/11 from 3. How pathetic.

No, but anything gained from a Laker win (currently at halftime) was destroyed by the Mavs completely wasting Dirk's best night of the season so far. I'm at the beginning of a stretch of 10 solid days of work right now, and I have no time for capping properly, so I'm probably going to take it easy for the next week or so, minus a few games I already have circled.

Jazz seems to be a popular pick today. And i was thinking i'd take them last night but after some research i kind of have 2nd thoughts on it now.

I just took a quick look at the Laker loses and the majority is really to some pretty damn good teams. The home loses came to Chicago and Indy, 2 of the best in the EAST. Loses in Denver (on b2b), Portland, Clipper, Heat and Magic (b2b) aren't bad loses imo, those are tough teams. Really the only bad loses they have are to the kings (2nd game of the year and b2b) and the Bucks (after Clipper win).

On the other hand they already beat the Jazz in Utah on a b2b this year, they also beat them at home on a b2b2b. They have road wins in Denver and Minnesota as well.

Who has Utah beat at home thats good? Philly, Memphis (early in the season when they struggled without Zbo), Clippers (without Paul). Minnesota and Portland (not a good road team). Lost to LAL, Mavs Clippers and Toronto.

All this would not scare me off the play. What scares me is the injury report. Devin Harris might be out. Not that he is having a good season, only playing 26 min a game. Thats actually one of Utahs strengths. They really spread the minutes around. And one of the reasons Harris is only playing 26 a game is because his backup Earl Watson is getting 21, but he is likely out too.

Who is left? Jamal Tinsley. A non factor all year till the last game where he played 34 min and put up some decent stats. But the Jazz got blown out by the Warriors in that game.

Anyway, any concerns about the PG situation for you?

This game was really more situational for me, with little in depth analysis. Playing B2B in Denver and Utah is a REALLY tough position for a team to be in. Add the narrow loss in the Lakers last visit and the Jazz were looking to make a statement in this game. Keeping it simple this week.

Utah was actually one of two circled games for me today, with the other being the Bobcats. Before I even saw the line I like Charlotte, and when I saw the +10 it seemed like a clear mispricing on the line. So glad I backed off on that one now that they're falling apart in the 4th.
