$500 into $10,000 possible?
I started a $500 experiment on 01/24/09 my goal is to hit $10,000. I didnt post my first week picks but i've been pretty lucky and now have myself a nice little bankroll to hit my goal, therefore, i thought i'd start posting my picks.
My current record after 6 days is 21/33 and my current balance is $1986
but i'll keep a ytd record and a record from the start of this thread.
i'm 3/4 today hitting lakers, boston, chicago, but losing toronto

Is definitely possible.
Over the past 3 months I've made $50 into a tick over $900...
Of course it's possible...starting with a roll of $500.00 you could bet it all every game and be up to $15,000.00 with a mere 5 wins in a row.
hahaha i 5 wins...sounds so much easier said than done. i messed up a lot when getting greedy with parlays. i've learned not to parlay and expect to hit it and just parlay small for fun.
thanks though i definitely hope i can hit my goal!! i'll be mix matching with all the great cappers on this forum as well as my own picks.

January 1st I deposited $200. That same day I was down to $4. Right now my bankroll sits at $31,000. I hope this will help your confidence, as it is more than possible. 1 lucky play is all it takes. After I turned that $4 into a luckyass hockey parlay that needed a last second empty net goal to win $350, I caught fire. At one point or another you will catch a break and begin to roll. Going back to your is it possible question. It is very possible, I keep turning 500 into $5000, but I have horrible money management and lose it each time. Trying to get money management under control, some have to learn the hard way. But very doable.
Why did you risk it all on the SB man? If anything you shoulda bought a hook at the very least in case it's a 1 TD game. Either way, best of luck.

5 consecutive wins is very probable, as I have had streaks of 6 and 7 consecutive wins in two different weeks this month.
Your problem would be the human element. Assuming you get to 4k of of your 4th bet, will you have the balls to drop that 4k to win 8k on your 5th bet. Most people will take the little early winnings off the 3rd bet which would be around 2k.
Start>1st Bet>2nd Bet>3rd Bet>4th Bet>5th Bet>6th Bet
$500> $500> $1000> $2000> $4000> $8000>$16000
This number will probably be alot less based on a -110 juice.

Now put $1,500 of it on Lakers -6 (-150) vs Raptors to win $1000 more for a grand total of 5,401. After that, risk the $5,401 on 1 bet and gain $10,000.
Boy, I hope either of those books won't give you any hassle when you start cashing out. Had over 2k once at Betus and was virtually impossible for me to cashout. If I was you, try your experiment with a top notch book like Betjam or 5dimes so you can get paid in a timely manner. Trust me, theirs nothing worst than not getting your hard earn winnings in less than 5 days.

I cancelled out no and took chicago +2.5 for 200 and my lakers orlando bets are actually to win 200 not 300
