Default 13-3-1 so far....not too shabby

And didn't use the martingale. Just picked the Quarter plays before the game started.

Except for the 1st Half loser plays. Obviously you cannot pick those before the game starts.

Hopefully we'll end up with a good night.

The volatility had spiked up too much for my taste.

excellent work Curious!! I have never really played quarters in the NBA before but you have given me something else to look at. I was a little concerned about the martingale system but even with it, you still seemed to be very profitble. It's nice to see something different other than people posting "locks" all of the time. I am a Big12 fan, especially KU since I live in Lawrence. I saw you took the jayhawks tonight for the moneyline. i think that is a good bet but I don't expect them to cover the 10.5. Good luck brother and I think we can do well with this quarter system!!

Why would you be "concerned" about a martingale system that has at most 4 trials in a series? The martingale is hitting at > 90%. Nothing to be concerned about.

I just wanted to see if I could pick the winners of the Quarters before the game started so I didn't have to sit and watch the dang screen all night.

Also the last few nights we have had some of those "lose every Quarter in the game" disasters. Just a couple.

For the Quarter plays I was doing a martingale. Take the home team for the 1Q bet. If it wins, stop. If it loses then double the bet for the 2Q. Keep doing that until you win.

Same thing for the 3Q play. Take the 1 Half loser for the 3Q. If that wins, stop. If it loses then double up on the 4Q.

    Works great.

Tonight I am trying something different.

Why is Shaq still in the NBA? He needs to go on that biggest loser program.

Are you sticking with Boston in the 3rd? or do you think Phoenix comes out angry?

First of all curious i gotta say, since i've been here for some time now but never bothered to register, you my man are pure gold.

Now i followed and played double on both Detroit and Atlanta as allways and it went throught, altho like you i had the previous disaster games in mind, but watching both games i felt it could be done by the teams.

As for boston, i'm allready riding them on 3rd, but i've made a PHX -4 on 2nd half seeing how it played out against NYN the other night.

I don't think PHX -4 was a good play. I would have to pass on the 2H. Or maybe take Boston money line.

Hi Curious - I'm wondering if I understand your martingale system correctly:
    1) take the ML on the home team in the 1Q
    2) if you win, stop .. if you lose, double up on the 2Q
    3) if you win, stop .. if you lose, double up again on the 3Q
    4) if you win, stop .. if you lose, double up again on the 4Q

    Interesting.

No, begining bets are decided in the percentage and point difference the teams had playing throught the season, then you apply martingale to them.

I have no idea what this means.

Take ML on favs, take the spread on dogs.

    Otherwise you are correct.

Not too bad. Sides were a bit disappointing.
