This week will be known as "Toro Week" as danrman turned the light on for me and I had an epiphany. I want to take the Bulls this week all week long win or lose and see if they can get me 3 covers out of the 4 games they play against New York, Atlanta, Toronto (which will be the toughest one) and Minny. 2 home and two road. Thank you danrman for giving me the inspirational information. I'm gonna set it off and carjack his pick and ride with him on this one-Bulls+2.5 with no cut on it and the moneyline when it comes out. I think that he has an excellent side play tonight.

Well now, we enter day 3 with the challenge going full steam and the combatants are working around the clock to bring you more of what ya need. On the docket tonight, we have a million NBA games for us to wager on. I myself have chosen a few to try out...

Houston has the Denver's number in battles waged in Texas. I am making this wager knowing full well that the odds of McGrady and Artest playing this evening are not likely in my favor, and I am taking a shell of what the Rockets could be. Despite that fact I am going to ride them tonight with the chalk. They are 4-1 ats and straight up playing the McNuggets at home, and i look for that trend to continue. Rest is not a factor for either team, but Kenyon Martin is. And he is not playing all too well these days.

Houston-2.5 I already played this one


I already pointed out on yesterday's thread that the under in games played between Indiana and New Orleans in the Big Easy usually go under the total and it is 4-1 ats for the under. With an over under line of 210.5 I find that number to be too high and i have already played this one, as i anticipate that the number will go lower once the linemaker realizes that he made a mistake. The Hornets are playing their first home game after a long east coast road trip.

I couldn't refuse this one as I had to change my play from UAB to Texas A&M on this one. The Jayhawks have had more han their share of troubles form A&M over the years at home, and have not defeated them by this margin in over 5 years. I am sorry but I must take the points in this matchup.


I have to take this heavy favorite because i talked myself into it. Phoenix is coming off of a win that went over the total yesterday morning in Toronto. Boston is fresh off blasting tune up Nets games, and they are home where the fans need a sgnature win to get them back into it. Against this version of the Celtics, the Gang Green beat the Suns by 10 theh last time they played them in Beantown. The spread was 7 that day, and the spread is 8 this time. More of the same. The Hawks have lost 5 of their last 6 SU, with their only win coming against the Clippers. That being said, they have been without their best inside presence in Al Horford, and the Hawks are a much better team than their recent performances have indicated. Above all else, the Hawks are next to unbeatable at home, having beat the likes of the Rockets and Cavs @ home this season. Add to the home court advantage and their starvation for a win, the Hawks catch the Raptors on the back end of a back to back. In addition the Raptors played a grueling, high scoring game with the Suns today which can take a lot out of a team. This season after a SU loss of 1-4 points, the Raptors are 0-3 ATS.

The Wolves are playing much much better as of late, with Foye, among others, scoring at an alarming rate. The Wolves are well rested(coming off of 2 days rest) and in this situation this year they are 9-4-1 ATS. And after all, they ARE playing the Clippers who are #30 in the NBA power rankings.

The Wizards visit the Warriors in what should be a high scoring game with little to no defense played. Both teams are coming off 2 days rest. In this situation, the Wizards are 4-1 O/U and the Warriors are 5-1 O/U. This, in itself, is enough to make my decision.

The Celtics are starting to come back around into their rare form they were in during the first quarter of the season. After blowing out the Nets by 20 in New Jersey in their last game on Saturday, the Celtics catch the Suns coming into town on the back end of a back to back and playing their 4th game in 5 days. This will not bode well for the Suns. Celtics roll....

The Cavs travel to LA to play the Lakers in what could be a preview of the NBA Finals. Both teams are coming off of 2 days rest. The Cavs are coming off of a win @ home against the Hornets and the Lakers are coming off their 2nd SU loss in a row. The Cavs have played 8 games this season after 2 days rest, weighing in at a stellar clip of 6-2 ATS. On the other side of the coin, for whatever reason, in games after the Lakers have had 2 days rest, they are an alarming 1-3 ATS. Give me the Cavs and those points.

Karaylian9, nieminen won the last time the two met, but the second set was VERY close, and the line is -130 on nieminen. Like I said before, it is sunday, and I don't want to risk any of my winnings, my bookie goes sunday to sunday. I would hate to give up a few hundred bucks on a tennis wager. I do realize that betting on tennis is rediculous. C'mon, even I know it is rediculous to wager on a tennis match, and I am the first to admit I am a degenerate. However, if this bet were tomorrow, I would probably hit it up, and hate myslef in the morning for betting on it, win or lose.
