I think only a small fraction of 32 people will take this tournament serious enough...

I seriously believe that the majority of these people would not be bothered to post their picks [ or they may even forget that this tournament exists ]

but who cares...

I'll have officially rules tomorrow when I finish w/ schedule.....only NBA, no 1st half bets, no quarter bets, just spreads and O/U.....No ML

my suggestion is that each matchup should be a 2 week match - with say a min amount of games over that time being 25 games.

wow Dexter....did you read my mind or something....that's exactly what I was thinking lol...I was going to start it in two weeks and 1st match up would end at all star break...then the finals would end I think 1 week before end of season. 25 games for 2 weeks sounds good too.

i was thinking minimum 25 games, with no maximum.

though that could create a lot more work for you keeping track of tons of plays...maybe like a min 25, max 30?

yea also, if you do it by win percentage and not by games, than one person could get like 60 games, just betting every game and every O/U.....it would probably screw them in the long run, but 25-30 games should be good to keep everything fair...there also will be some tiebreakers in case of tie. best record for 2nd week, then 2nd tiebreaker would be best 1st week record, finally, I would have both people bet every game the following day and best record that day wins

i dont like that tiebreaker - its really no big deal if you were good one week compared to the other. my vote is that the following day after the match has ended be "tiebreaker day" and then do the every game/total on the board idea..i doubt that ends in a tie, and if so, do the same the next day...just my 2 cents
