    Default 1/14/09 Second Half Thread

    Let's get this thing rolling!

    Blazers/76ers OVER 98.5

    Blazers -4.5

    I expect the Blazers to at least make a run. They only need to lose by 17 against Philly. I don't expect the 76ers to shoot 8-17 from beyond the arc in the second half either.

    I got the Blazers 3rd quarter, can't see a massive blow out and they should fight their way back sooner rather than later. (small play)

    Also, went with the Pacers second half. The Pistons are struggling massively.

    i got the blazers -4.5 too... the sixers always get big leads and blow them.. i wouldn't be suprised if the blazers made this a game in the second half

    I don't know why the second half total for the Wizards/Knicks is set so low after both teams combined for 133 points in the first half. I've been wanting to track first half scores that are alarmingly high but then linesmakers set the second half total relatively low compared to the score. Keep in mind that I will not actually play this particular total.

    Knicks/Wizards UNDER 101.5

    I would lean Celtics in the second half although I am probably staying away. Carter is 1-9 and Lopez is having a hard time under the basket. I think the linesmakers know that the Celtics will win this one going away. Celtics are completely dominating and IMO, the deficit is a lot closer than what it should be.

    I agree with Utah but I think I'll stay away because I can't trust them on the road. I am leaning towards the Heat because Wade has to get it going so far and Milwaukee is shooting 55%. I expect that number to drop in the second half.

    Miami +3.5 is the play.

    Scratch the Miami play. I think they were riding last game's momentum into the first half today. I am skipping that game in the second half altogether.
