Kevin Durant is a game-time decision Wednesday due to a sore left ankle and Chris Wilcox has been ruled out with a knee injury.

We're guessing Durant will play, but he could take an early seat if the Magic get off to a quick start. With Wilcox out, look for Joe Smith to have another solid game for the Thunder.

FWIW, my best bet today in pro hoops is New Orleans -1. Hornets are very well rested, having not played since Sunday. Lakers on 2nd leg of a back to back (although they are 22-12 ATS in this spot past 3 years). Many experts agree that these are the 2 best teams in the West and I think New Orl comes out with something to prove tonight. The whole reason they picked up James Posey was to defend slashing 2s and 3s out west such as Kobe, T-Mac, etc. More of a gut play than a #s based play so take it fwiw.
