Default ?WHY?

Why do people get drawn into the coin flip games so often....perfect example Lakers vs Hornets. There will be more money on this game than any other game played tonight, and it seems to be the biggest toss up on the board. Where's the angle....?

-As if -1/+1 doesn't say enough about it being a coin flip.
-Lakers have the better record but are facing back to back road games for the 1st time this season, the Hornets are coming off a days rest.
-Lakers scored at least 100 in 5 of 6, Hornets scored 100 in 4 of 6.
-Kobe vs Posey, I wouldn't say Posey shut him down in the last years Finals but he defiantly gave him some problems.
-Last years MVP vs last years runner up.
-Both teams have solid benches, at least 9 players on both teams average double-digit minutes.

It seems there are so many other games on the board where clear mismatches can be exploited. But yet people always get drawn to the high profile match ups, which usually are the most unpredictable games.

Yeah Lakers look like a great play at +1.5

Although..

NO is 107-72 ATS
NO with total between 190-194.5 are 18-5
after non conference game 43-18

Those are pretty good winning percentages. Stats dont lie. But heart and passion can sure make things complicated.

Ill take my chances on the lakers for this is the best team the lakers have seen in a while. Lakers will just add a loss to those categories. Got to ride the Lakers untill they prove me wrong. But this one will come right down to the wire just like last nights covering of the ATS.

yeah sportsguy with you as well, which is suprising because cant stand the Lakers but man that game last night was crazy. didnt see it live, just watched it on NBA scoreboard ESPN and then the highlights were sick. I remember the game 99-97 fo like 2 minutes in the 4th or close to it and was like wtf is this not updating then saw the highlight of Pau getting that score under the hoop to get a 4 pt lead that was crucial

yea the lakers arent going to be underdogged very often this year unless they lose a major player due to injury so i think most people are just taking advantage of it while its out there, personally i thought that was a good play and still do but i think the over is a better play and dont like making 2 plays on the same game

Honestly I could see the lakers losing here. But Im still taking the lakers for they are sick this year. All of the factors are right for them to get their first lost. New Orleans is a strong team playing at home with a day off. LA is playing back to back road games and having a hard fought battle coming from behind. So, in that case.... LETS CASH THE LAKERS!

Is chandler back in the lineup?

Weren't the Lakers really strong last year in the second half of back to back games? I seem to remember they were.

not sure aboutu back to back games, just seems in general they turn it on the 2nd half and either come back and win this year or blow out their team in the 3rd and dont let up.

I'm on NO at -1.5...I like them to hand the lakers their first loss of the season and giving up only 1.5 pts to get -110 is good value as far as I'm concerned in a game that I feel NO has a better than 50/50 shot at winning.

could make a case for either team here
if no is gonna compete with the lakers in the reg season, tonite would be a good start.
lakers, a deep team, tho on 2nd road game in 2 days.
no at home and rested, also should be a couple extra fans in seats for this midweek game againt la
I'd give a slight edge to no in this one
