A couple years ago they had 1, otherwise only talk. Of coarse the more interest shown....

How about a survivor contest for points. 15 points to enter and you pick 1 driver every week to finish in the top 15 or 20. You can't pick the same driver twice. Winner takes all. They do this over at covers and seems to do well.

This year will be wild, especially since NASCAR suffered big time in T.V. ratings and has decided to go back to the "boys will be boys" thinking and actually are encouraging the drivers to mix it up more on the tracks. It is O.K. to wreck someone this year. Just do not make it obvious. Be descreet when you send someone spinning into the wall. Bump drafting is now allowed all over the track. Let the drivers decide who wins, instead of the biased NASCAR Officials who are in bed with Hendricks.

In another good move, NASCAR has decided to run the races when they should be run, instead of changing times all year long. The races that will be run on Sunday on the East Coast will start at 1:00 pm. The West coast races will start at 3:00 pm. No more screwing around with start ties so races can be shortened by rain.

I live on the West Coast and love the 10:00 starts, West Coast Time. Now if they can just cut out all the hours of B.S. that we have to endure before the race, we will be fine. Shorten the pre-race shows. Get rid of the babbling idiots on T.V. and have people with some knowledge of the sport do the shows.
