Don't bet on rain in Brisbane. If it comes it's generally heavy summer storms for short periods this time of year.

It's a good thought though. The way weather has been in Southern states for the last month or two I'd be all over that if it was in Melbourne or Sydney.

I have to deal with that constantly.

It's because of the rules betfair had to agree to to trade in Aus. Basically process Aussie sport onshore I think it is.

It's the one time Australians can get orders in as fast as UK actually. Well faster for once. Not that it matters much when we cant trade in play though.

I'm starting to think UK bookmakers are worse than the US offshore mobs.

Since they have taken over the local industry the change is obvious and alarming to me.

Once upon a time it was a luxury a bookmaker enjoyed, being able to take bets in Australia. These penetrates act like they not only have every right to treat gambling like any other business (they dont) but they also tyhink they have some right to re-write the rules.

    Hate them all.

Dont agree with uk bookies being worst than usa offshore books of course my company (.coral) and hills and ladbrokes offices are in gilbralter for tax purposes but we have 1700 shops across the uk to place bets even if you get restricted in 1 shop you can talk a walk to the nxt one. Im limited in paddypower near were i work(after nascar bets) i just jump on the bus to the nxt one .also uk bookies dont charge to withdraw and you can withdraw as many times as you like .i use sporting index a spread betting firm i deposit there using my DC which is instant and within an hr i withdraw it to moneybookers it arrives within 2 mins and then on 5d.

Yeah of course I am exaggerating about being worse than US offshore.

You're used to it so probably won't get what shits me. Thinking its ok for a bookmaker to pick and choose their clientelle is one big issue of difference.

Both sides should be gambling to make it a fair game.

If a book offers a bet to one person they have to offer it to all in order for that to happen.

Running a book was never meant to be a short term guaranteed profit business.

I can't really get a good feel for how this series will go. Must admit the usual Ashes excitement isnt there after so recently finishing the previous series.

I havent committed yet but im finding it hard to pass up on the odds for England winning 1st test.

Tried lookin at the props but so much!!

non-pros are well looked after in the picks game.

I think they will have new ways to go pro associated with the new betpoints sites SBR John mentioned.

I would love to go pro I just have a hard time donating to charity as only means. My wife runs a non-profit organization for homeless families with children ( provides counseling, and a place for them to stay week to week within the churches in our city, and also helps them get jobs, budgeting, education) anyhow I help out a ton with that. I dont want to sound come across like a dick but we donate plenty between her program and within our community

If it was a straight $200/yr membership fee it would still be a no brainer value wise for me, as a non-us person. I think I would still pay it as a US user too.

The charity angle is just there so SBR can not be accused of selling americans gambling points they can cash out.

I think you will find Americans will have other options in the near future.

Don;t know enough about Cook bet to know and can't take Unders on our bats but do like those anyone to get a double century odds.

What's your thinking with WACA? England never win there from memory.

you staying up to watch a bit of day 1 shaun? Looks like it is a nice day at the gabba today, maybe not so much the rest of the test.

I feel dirty, ended up taking England for the win but will still be cheering on the Aussies!

I like that WACA bet too. Always a fast flat pitch, should have plenty of runs in it.
