Alright boys were off to the "tricky-triangle" of POCONO this weekend!!!...the nationwide series is off this weekend, but the truck series will be racing from Texas on friday night, with CUP series on Sunday early afternoon again starting at noon...already started watching past 3-4 races here, and looking over my individual driver notebooks, as well as my track notebook for pocono...anything and everything can happen during this race, especially different fuel strategy and engine/tire wear...it is also the first time it will be only 400 miles

POCONO is a tri-oval superspeedway, but its a 1 of a kind track on the circuit...it has 3 turns all with different banking..turn 1 is 14 degrees, with turn 2 at 8 degrees, and turn 3 at 6 degrees banking...the straights are just 2 degrees....the frontstrech is 3,740 ft long, the backstretch is 3,055 ft long, and the short-shoot is 1,740 ft long....

as always all our regulars useful information and opinions/picks are always welcome and greatly appreciated...we are having a AMAZING season so far and the cash has just been rolling in..the more info we share the better oppurtunity to win ever week, and its been working GREAT this whole season so far..so with every1s help we will keep making the books pay us every weekend!

Kurt Busch has been suspended from this weekend's activities at Pocono Raceway by NASCAR as a result of his actions following the Nationwide Series event at Dover International Speedway this past Saturday.
Busch was already on probation because of a run-in with Ryan Newman's crew following the May 12 Sprint Cup event at Darlington Raceway. Following his fourth-place finish in Saturday's Nationwide race, Busch was asked about racing while on probation, and proceeded to verbally berate reporter Bob Pockrass of The Sporting News, who posed the question.
"It refrains me from not beating the s--- out of you right now because you ask me stupid questions," Busch said in a video posted by Speed Channel. "But since I'm on probation, I suppose that's improper to say as well."




truth is he's been a non-factor this season anyway. He can save himself another embarrassing finish now.

as hot as jimmy has been the last month, i just cant take him early here...he lives in top 5, but i only care about wins, and he hasnt won at POCONO since 2004....i may change my mind and take him and noody else, but theres alot of value out there when hamlin./jimmy will get the hell bet out of them all week...im taking my chances and
laying off for now

plus, i really think its a deadly duo, now that D.Grubb is the chief for the #11 car..he was the master at setups for smoke at pocono and all flat tracks really...i think this will be an added advantage to hamlin this weekend

and GORDON said it best after dover race...top 10s and 5s do the #24 no good at all now...the ONLY thing this team cares about from now on is winning to get in the chase..period..point racing and good finished just doesnt help this team in this position in the standings...and no where do they have a better shot at a WIN than pocono, 1 of jeff's best tracks

Dang, just logged onto 5D to look at odds (don't have money on there). Hamlin's down to +375

makes no sleep all worth while ...lol

+500, now down to +375 in less than 2 hours.....thats alot of extra money if he wins right there by getting on asap when odds posted.....glad i went ahead re-bet at +465 too now...wow

POCONO is a neat track to see a race at if any of you guys ever get the chance to go to a nascar race there....

its different, more laid back than most...good race to take ur lady too cause of the surroundings..at least that was my exucse to go...
