Welcome Back Nascar, http://games.espn.go.com/stock-car-c...ryID=75722this is the same contest Optional ran last year(ESPN 2011 Stock Car Challenge), but due to work schedule he's asked me to run it for him this year. You have $100 Million a week to pick 5 drivers, each has a assigned value, which will go up or down each week depending on how they did last race. Then you have the choice each week to keep your same roster, or change drivers, keeping in mind the $100 million cap. Participating can be as simple as you want it to be.(a few minutes a week or do your homework)
Espn has a great program set up and keeps track of everything for us.

To make it more fun some of us degenerate gamblers here at SBR play for some points, but its free to play if you want also. The season is broke down into 3 segments, #1 has 11 races from (Daytona 500-Darlington) #2 has 15 races from (Coca Cola 600- Richmond) #3 has 10 races(The Chase).

3 Ways to Play:
#1 We each put up 100 points at the start of a segment, winner is who has the highest score after that segment ends. Last year we had about 5-7 players per segment, hopefully with more notice we have more this time.

#2 We also have a 25 point weekly side bet that goes to the highest score that weekend. These will be sent directly to the winner by Monday Night, failure to pay will have you removed from contest. (All i ask here is to let us know when you are in and if its just that week or every week till you give futher notice.)

#3 Play for Free and see if you can hang with the Big Boys. ESPN even offers $1k per segment and $2k for the year to the leader. (Keep in mind there was 120k players last year) I did finish 88th in one segment and Onlooker was the Overall Yearly Best from SBR at 2615th.

In Option #1 we paid out 75% for 1st & 25% for 2nd, if we have enough maybe we pay out 3rd also this year, lets see how many players we have by race day. If anyone has any questions, comments, or ideas please let me know. GL Everyone.

Cool glad to have ya'll, im getting quite a few emails from people who want to play, gonna be a fun. Like i said you can leave your line up the same every week or research the track for that week and change drivers. How much time a person spends on this contest is up to them.

Sounds Good Bro, everyone will need to pay b4 the flag drops Sunday, sooner will just give us a idea of prize payouts. We have 3 paid already and emails from 3 more committing, so if we have at leaste 10 playing for points by sunday, Prizes would be like 1st-600 2nd-300 3rd-100 for segment#1.(11 Races). Plus there will be alot of 25 sidebets Everyweek to keep it interesting.

Welcome to all you guys, we have some great cappers in this contest. About the 25 pt side bets: Last year we would just pay those directly to that weekends winner by Monday Night, luckly we never had a problem with someone not getting paid. We'll try the honor system again but with the rule if someone states they are in, that they pay or they will be not be allowed to participate in future side bets. Ryan has sent me 25 already, so i'll pay 50 to the winner this week.
I'll make 2 lists in next couple days, listing who's in 100 point Segment & another with who's in 25 pt side pot. On Sundays shortly after the race has begun i'll always submit a list of all players in the 25 pt side pot for that weekend.
