Default Which Cars are they driving in the Duels ?

Does anyone know which cars the drivers will be running during the Gatorade Duels?

Shootout Cars ? (or whats left of them)
    Daytona 500 Cars ?
    back-up Cars ?

This is a qualifying race. They are driving their 500 car unless they had to go back to their back-up/shoot cars because of an incident - see M Waltrip & J McMurray. Should be some chaos back in the field with so many part timers trying to get in.

He had to replace his engine yesterday. I do not believe any money is awarded today to the teams.

I've only got a few match ups for todays race that looked good to me. Only 1 unit each since I usually get snake bitten in a restrictor plate race.

Yep Plate races are not good for us bettors. Picking Long SHots to win is really all we should ever do in these type races....

I cant find where they line up in these duels. Are they drawing numbers from a hat ?

Its hard to wager on something that is about confusing as hell. Will all these drivers be trying 100% to win?

Here is a good link I found Check it out:

Some Drivers will be trying to win but others will probably drop out of the way since they're already locked into the 500 and dont want to risk their car to the craziness bound to happen. Thanks for the link. You may want to check Nascar.com as they are offering free trackpass raceview, scanner, MRN, etc for the race. I've never tried trackpasss but it looks pretty cool. Gentlemen....start your engines!!!!!

I was thinking that the top dogs would hold back as well. The thing is Vegas doesnt think so. If I remember correctly the Favorites won both races last year....

Apparently I should have stuck with the George Costanza methodology and gone with the opposite
