Default Easiest Fix

Just saw a tv movie about the White Sox and Shoeless Joe throwing the world series back in the days. Made me think about fixes, a topic that came up frequently during the NBA postseason. I started wondering what the easiest sport would be to fix, and after considering boxing, horse racing, basketball, and a few others, came to car racing. A driver can take his foot slightly off the pedal and nobody would ever know it. It would be impossible to prove. (Kind of makes you wonder about drivers taking other cars out, as in NASCAR.)

eight men out was a pretty good movie.

you do bring up an interesting topic here in regards to nascar.

the pit crew could help fix a race as well.

the driver could run out of gas. the mechanic could forget to make the proper adjustments, ect, ect.

Thats why I dont bet on NASCAR. To many things factor into a certain driver/car winning the race. Spotters, Pits, Other drivers, moving parts, etc etc etc etc etc.........

To many things to go wrong, so I will just watch it and let the books make money off the bets.

I have seen a ton of fixed races. One time there was a 1/9 shot running at hawthorne. Someone put 100k to show on the horse. He parked him the entire mile in the middle of the pack and still had a ton of pace at the end. He practically broke the horses neck so he would not finish in the money. It was so obvious there was even an inquiry on it. The winner paid $60 to win, $13 to place, and $300 to show. I was thinking hahaha you idiots who bet win and place wtf were you thinking. Whenever I see any big money on a heavy fave I always put at least $10 across the board to show on the other horses. Hit a race last night where my horses paid between $20 and $30 to show on a $2 bet.
