I heard Tottenham messed up 3 times on scoring a goal.

What was your reasoning for choosing the game? Laying down -165 on Tottenham didn't look like free money by any stretch of the imagination, especially with their top scorer responsible for 30% of their goals on African Nation's duty.

I'm just wondering the reasons for the bet - nothing to do with a post-mortum of the result. They might have won 4-0, they might have lost 4-0 I don't really care - I'd just like to know the reasons for the bet.

1x2 soccer bets have very high vig. For instance tomorrow's big match is a 107% book on the 1x2 at Pinnacle. On the A/H it's less than a 101% book. A 107% book is the equivalent of a book offering odds of -115/-115 on sides on an NFL game. If you're happy to take the equivalent of -115/-115 odds then I'm interested to the reasons why, nothing else.

It's real sweet that you leap to the defence of imgv94 though.

I'm not discussing teasers (and my hearty congratulations if that won). I'm asking for the reasoning behind the Tottenham bet when it was a 107% book.

Same goes for another game tomorrow. Would you back Chelsea to win at -632 on a 107% book or would you favour them on the -1.5&-2 A/H on an effective 4-cent line?

Taco- It's the same as comparing a 10 cent line in baseball to a 20 cent line. The hold is greater on the 20 cent line but if you are getting a better price on the side that you want on the 20 cent line then the books theoretical hold doesn't mean a thing. Again, next time post criticism prior to the match you past poster.

I'm not posting criticism of the match, nor of the pick. I was asking for the reasoning behind the 1x2 bet as opposed to the AH wager. If Tottenham had won the match, I'd have asked for the reasoning. If Tottenham had lost the match, I'd have asked for the reasoning. This quote from my earlier post gave the game away somewhat:

To translate the above, I was wondering the reasons of the bet and nothing to do with a post-mortum of the result.

And I was actually asking imgv94. I didn't realise that he was unable to answer the question without the aid of his posting buddy.

What were the odds for the 1x2 wagering as well as AH?As I said the hold means nothing. You have to compare lines for both type of wagers and also take the total into affect to see which line had more value. The hold isn't the important thing, it's the line you bet.

I know. And when imgv94 gets back here then he can advise his reasoning for taking the 1x2 over the AH which is all I'm asking for.
