Not that much hype around Tiger this week, i'll have a dabble for a trade later on - he loves it round here

    careful smogs

tiger is having trouble hitting the green from 100 yards

in his own words "people are going to have to be realistic,it is going to take some time" he said this after the last tourney he played in

to me time isn't a few weeks,we are talking about months

    Good luck

Great point wiz, very small dabble on him, more of an interest bet really.

I have nice sized plays on Perry, Furyk and Choi all e/w. I think the toughness of the course is going to mean a player with real form and overall quality will win.

Cannot really see anybody outside the 30/1 odds making an effort at 1st place. Maybe Kuchar....

Such a tight and demanding course

Key to a good week is putts per green and GIR stats imo

You make a good point with him liking the course Smogs,I don't take him lightly.I am aware of what he can do

hopefully it's gonna be a fun week,I got a ton of action already and haven't even looked at first round matches

I heard today that this is mcilroys first time on this course so I like that ernie els match even more now

    smogs

he was asked about it post round, his past troubles closing or what not,

he thinks it was just a matter of inexperience in those spots,he talked about how he would get ahead of himself

he thinks he has learned to stay in the moment a little better,

I don't know his game well enough to include him in my action, will be paying attention this week though

the interview is actually on Golf channel right now

What has been key for me regarding the likes of Paul Casey, Luke donald, Rose etc is that for the most part they seem happy just being there or there abouts. Making enough to stay in the top 50 world rankings but not too arsed about actually having a killer instinct (like Tiger woods of old)

Luke Donald at the PGA at Wentworth as an example, admittedly he won the week after but i feel these guys don't have the edge that some lesser players like Dustin Johnson/Jason Day/ Chris Wood have

I noticed that about casey in an interview,he had christmas eyes talking about being in the top 100 and I could tell he was just a kid

a lot of these guys are just talented enough to get money at a young age,so I think focus can be tough

rose sounds like he is moving past that age the way he is talking

Good point, add Westwood to the list, in the U.S. at least. English gentlemen. They are playing the Celtic Manor tournament in Europe this week, this is also where the Ryder Cup will be played later this year. That is when the English Gentlemen will beat up mercilessly on the cowboy Yanks.
