Default Tennis Bettors: I feel Moya will give Djokovic hell tonight

The dude is 31 yrs old but he is playing very well this yr, reaching the Quarters at The French and then again here at Flushing Meadow..

I follow tennis but don't bet it much, so I'm looking to see how you guys would play it.

+350 or so on the ML, but I don't believe Moya will win, just that he will extend the match to 4 or 5 sets, so that's probably not a strong bet.

How about O/U games at 37?

What is the + or -5.5 wager? Is that the number of total games that your guy needs to win or lose by?

+/- 5.5 is the total games won hcp,Betfair have Moya +4.5 @ 2.44 which I think is way long unless Djokovic has injury problems.

He's actually Serbian, and he's a 4 to 1 favorite. He's the #3 seed, while Moya is the #17 seed, so obviously Novak D is a big fav.

My query is not about who will win, we already know who will likely win. The query was to find betting value.

wrong match...Davydenko's the russian left in the field and plays federer tomorrow...Moya is better on clay..has been great here but this is not his best surface to play on and is a lot older then Djokovic.

Agreed Westside. Djokovic will probably win but laying 4 to 1 chalk is not my cup of tea.

I think Moya extends him to 4 sets, and over 37 games.

Best value is to lump on Djoko.

Djokovich in straight sets. There is a sizable talent disparity.

Wheel, no doubt that Djokovic is the more talented player, not to mention much younger.. however, you have to admit that Moya has been playing some fine tennis this year and that alone makes him a good candidate to at least steal a set here, no?

Djokovic has shown some chinks in his armor this tournament

Yup. Tie-breaker in the 2nd did it.

But, I'm not giving up until it's over. Moya is pretty fit for a 31 yr old, so while it looks bleak for a 4th set, you never know until it's over.

After watching the high level of tennis between Federer and Roddick last night, these guys put on a pretty disappointing show. Djokovic will have to reach back a little if he wants to compete with Federer (and he's proven he can).
