Default Super 14 week 3 tips

    YTD 4-5-0 ( -8.85 UNITS )

Hoping for a better round than last week

Crusaders bt Sharks WIN MARGIN 13+. Crusaders shock loss last week and a feeling that the sharks camp is showing signs of unrest, Crusaders at home should be to strong. 3 UNITS TO WIN 2.3 UNITS

Brumbies bt Stormers +4.5pts. This game should be close, home side in good form but brumbies did score 32 points last week against the top side Bulls.Just need to muscle up more. 3 UNITS TO WIN 2.4 UNITS

Chiefs bt Western Force -7.5 pts.
The force are shot, even at home this game could get ugly. Hopefully for the force its not another basketball score.

    Cheetahs bt Highlanders Margin 1-12.
This game could go either way. The cheetahs are playing with some confidence, so Ill take home advantage here.
3 UNITS TO WIN 4.95 UNITS

Cheetahs - Highlanders !st Score Cheetahs Penalty goal.
Whoever gets the first in range penalty will shoot. Again home advantage might give the locals the first call.
2 UNITS TO WIN 3.2 UNITS

Waratahs bt Bulls +14.5 pts If the waratahs can score a try the game will on.
Call it bias but go you Waratahs.
3 UNITS TO WIN 2.7 UNITS

Anyway regardless of your bets this weekend good luck.

that's a winning start to your card, peter. i missed this game - it went under the radar... i was too busy watching australia carve up the kiwis in the twenty-20 game in wellington.

as for the early match tomorrow, the brumbies need to step up. so far, they've had a lacklustre win over the hapless force... then a reality check last week against the bulls.

playing in sth africa is no picnic, but i'll give the brumbies another shot with the start.

    good luck.

Stormers are unbeaten in there first 2 games, both at home.

This game is also at home. Kept the waratahs tryless last week winning 27-6,before beating the lions the week before.

The stormers could in fact be as good as the bulls this year.

Last week the brumbies did score 32 points against the Bulls (last years champs)so attacking is not the issue. If they can keep going for the full 80 mins they should win this.It was only the last 15mins or so last week when they tired.

SaffaCappa might be able to tell us more about the SA teams if he is listening.

it certainly wasn't pretty, but in the end, it was a good result for the brumbies.

only one try apiece - and both those came as the stadium cleaners were about to move in.

i still find rugby fundamentally frustrating, with the high rate of penalty kicks -many based on technicalities - making up the bulk of the scoring.

it may be the game they play in heaven, but sometimes, watching it is like being in purgatory.

that's my sermon for the day.

reds vs blues: the qld team heads back to its spiritual home at ballymore, hoping to post back-to-back victories for the first time in a couple of years.

i hope they can do it, but i'm not convinced... especially without injured skipper james horwill.

a miserable rainy wind-swept night this evening... so i'll take the under 46, given that ball control could be an issue and field position will be paramount.

    cheers.

    Good selection Aunty

The late try at fulltime made the under score closer to missing, but really as you said with the weather always looked good.

thanks. it's nice to be on the right side of a close one every now and then.

taking that into account, i would've been brassed off it the total had gone over, given that i thought it was a fairly solid selection.

best of luck with the rest of your card, mate.
