    Default Olympic curling 25.2

    1-5u plays
Well, I love both games for today with Swiss vs Norway in the first and Canada vs Sweden in the second...
    Norway vs Swiss
In my opinion its two teams that belongs in another divsion from the rest, and Norway is one of them. The two teams have faced each other previous in the tournament where Norway got an easy 7-4 win. Norway lost a close one they should have won vs Sweden and a close one vs the team that is my fav to win the gold in Canada. Elswhear they'v beaten USA, Germany, China, Denmark, France and Britain who's in my opinion the 3rd strongest team in the tournament even tho they got knocked out in the tie-breaker game vs Sweden. Also, Norway have been improving from game to game and should now be at their strongest point of the tournament -- that might be reflected in their two strong wins to end the round-robin with 9-2 over France and 9-5 vs USA. Swiss manage to take the 3rd seed after beating Denmark, USA, Britain, China, Sweden and France while losing to Norway Canada and Germany. I see Norway taking this one by 2 pts...
    Canada vs Sweden
Well, Canada have crused trough the round-robin matches and won all 9 of their games while Sweden needed a tie-breaker vs Britain after going 5-4 in their previous matches... I just can't see Canada have any troubles with Sweden who manage to come here cause of a realy poor preformence by Britain. I see Canada yet again cruises to a easy 4-5 pts win here and a Norway vs Canada matchup in the finale...

    Norway/Canada 2-Teamer (-135) for 5 stones *POD*

    Best of luck to all

Thats the reason for people to love it... j/k
Well, both teams won -- Canada cruising the whole game, ,while Norway made it "done-deal" in the 9th as they wen't up by 3...

    1-0, +5.00u

So far im leaning Canada to win the finale, but it depends on the lines + im an Norwegian so I might stay away -- not bet with your heart, but I want my Norway to win the gold so...

Nice! I like Canada to win the gold too but if the odds are good enough I might be tempted to take Norway. BOL

I think Canada takes Norway down for gold but wouldn't back them as big favorites. I might go with Canada-1.5 stones if the juice is good.

IMO, no. Canada looks really strong and should be heavily favored. But anything can happen in curling. To me that's about -300.

A beer on the sidelines helps too. I've only been a few times but have had a blast whenever I've gone curling.

Sliding around on the ice like a little kid, banging rocks together (like a little kid), having a beer with some buds while doing it. What's not to like?

Is there a possibility for an all talk all the time curling station?

Sure, now that the Olympics is over, nobody wants to talk curling. Well then don't come crawlin' to this thread in 4 years.

Hey SJ, getting a little swept away with the puns? I'm curious to find how long you can keep hammering these curling jokes (and keep me amused too)
