well the footy season nearly upon us and i cant wait. this summers cricket has been BORING. ok NAB cup is a risk to bet as alot of players r missing and teams r trying new things, trying out new players so forth. but what i do know is that alot of interstate home team wins against vic teams. so onto tonite. eagles v bombers. bombers over the pre season has lost alot of key players lloyd lucas (retire) mcphee (fremantle) lovett(gone) hurley (suspended). tonies game neagle gumbleton (injured) ryder (personal reason) melksham (flu) not playin tonite. eagles has also few player missing most noticeably cox (injury). so i will be tipping eagles as they have more balanced line up as well playing in perth will be too much for the bombers.

Looks like the public is on WC. Essendon aren't a shabby side even without Ryder. Last year they beat Bulldogs in R1 of NAB and year before that they beat Brisbane away in R1. In those 2 years WC lost both first games by 44 and 62. Essendon +18.5 for me.

I'm with you hedgejob, I like bombers plus the points but where the hell did you get that line from all i can find is +15.5 on the books... Another Game which i love is the hawks to demolish the tigers and win by 40 plus points so the line of -24.5 points he hawks are injury is definately a play for me. Remember the hawks are injury free this pre season and are looking to get some good match fitness into the boys legs before round 1.

hi mate, dont bet too much on the nab cup, its alot of experimentation and hits and misses. im not to confident on the swans and only baking because its in sydney. i think the 1 worry for the swans is the ruck division, now that jolly is gone, they dont really have a true ruckman- more like a bakup ruckman, seaby,lewis thomson,pyke etc. anyway will see what happens. i have more confident in tomorrows game, the cats and freo @ home.

i promised i'd steer clear of the nab cup, but what the hell. i'll opt for freo at home, too... maybe an under 39.5 margin or an over 15.5 tri bet.

it can't be easy being a demons man... although i've always had a lot of respect for jim stynes - on and off the field.
