NRL Grand Final
Have any of you guys locked in any bets for this so far?
My head says Storm but I would really like to see Parramatta win it. Centrebet released their game total and it is sitting at around 35.5 and while taking the under is always the popular bet when it comes to games that are played in the wet I think taking the over is still a decent play even considering the defensive capabilites of each team. I feel that something has just got to give and that there is just too many good offensive players like Slater, Hayne, Inglis and Smith for there two be a lack of tries.
So at the moment I am leaning towards the over and I am intersted to see what you guys think is going to happen.

well looking at the stats , looks like 4 under/2 overs but 35.5 seems to low for me. maybe 38 would be better. im liking the over. plus these games has been close so eels plus the points looks like a gud bet to me. or even with centrebet eels PYOL eels +6.5 @$1.78.

Yeah although ive got a season bet on parra ive still taken them with the 5.5 start aswell.I wish i did what alias has done but with the +6.5 at centrebet i still might yet for back up.As for the total points im not sure.Good luck everyone.

Best of luck. I also think that Parra over 15.0 points @ 1.90 is a decent bet at sportingbet.

Well I ended up taking Parra Over 15 total points scored.

nice i think that will hit domestic.Ive also taken tigers u20 +12.5/eels +12.5 at $2.20.and Nathan Hindmarsh to win the clive churchill medal at $7.

Bad first half for the eels but it could of been worse. Hoping they can find some cracks in the storm defense in the second forty.

Yeah, parra did well to get to where they got but Melbourne are just so damn clinical they are so hard to outscore. Melbourne looked shaky at the start of the season but like the eels they got their game together when it counted I guess.
It is also nice to finish an NRL season in the green for once!
Next year I reckon tigers are a certainty to make the eight, looking forward to the price I can get for that when they are released in the coming months.
Also congrats alias on your team winning.

heys guys , just got bak from sydney. what an experience. cruise on the river and met some of the rugby players, manly,rabbits whoeva, molly meldruma n other stars. storm were fantastic, partied at acer arena after the game. a great nite and now going to bed. lol cya
ps missed out eels +6.5 but got over 35.5 so broke even.

i took what i called the melbourne trebble, soccer game on saturday night, under 20s and melbourne -6.0 in the big one, $5.65 not bad odds, spewin the footy seasons are over, hmmmm what to do now

Seriously no decent Local sport on for a while. Cricket Summer will be boring as we are playing basically 3rd world nations..
