Yeah, probably easier to just upload them to imgur and post the link here.

Sportsbet are offering money back if you back the loser in the Carlton v Collingwood match if they lose by 13 points, so effectively its Carlton +13 @ 1.91. I am getting on it asap.
    +2,134 points SBR Book

like Sydney at the line, St kilda at the line, and will wait for the over for the gws/wce game. If it is less than 210 I'll have a serious think about adding that in this week.

The money back offer works only if you are betting the head2head (moneyline) and max refund of $100

    AFL Money Back Special:

    • Place a Head to Head bet on the Carlton v Collingwood game.
    • If your team lose by less than 13 points, you’ll get your money back!

Not a bad offer from Sportsbet. Centrebet also often little AFL bonuses on Friday Afternoon which are handy.

Sydney good in centre-half-back, Port's shit where Sydney's good at. Be careful. Port does however seem to be better this year.

This game will tell us just how much Port's really improved.

    I like:
    Carlton,
    Brisbane,
    Essendon,
Bulldogs seems really good, ML might be good,
    perhaps Geelong.

Eagles vs Suns line, how about that!

What are people's thought on Bulldogs ML against Saint's? Saints didn't impress me at all but hard to tell given the opposition they had. Bulldogs had stronger opposition and they did well against the Crows until the last quarter.

    Hawks -28.5
    Lions +43.5
    Dons -58.5

GWS getting a lot of defensive practice, and looked pretty damn good on the front foot in the 3rd quarter last week. Think they will take heart from that and might defend harder from the outset this week. Wouldn't be surprised if they cover the 105.5. Thinking something like 62-158. Just saying, over is likely the bet.

Maybe that's just exposing myself as an AFL no nothing though

    Newbie Question.
How long does it take for the 2 new expansion teams to have a realistic shot at the playoffs? 5 years? 10 years?

    Both look like shit.

  14. #14

Probably 7 years, as long as their youngsters don't become injury prone from all the bash and crash during their early years.

I got a phone call from centrebet with some offer.

First time ever. Something about matching $$'s up to $50 on a losing bet?

I hate call ups, so I said "uhh... yeah, great. thanks, seeya." Are aussie sport books going to start getting americanized doing this type of crap?

I havent played at centrebet there since they screwed me on all things American (toward the end of last AFL season) - cannot place a $1.00 bet there without it being sent for authorization and then often accepted at a reduced stake.
I also didn't like some of their rules...

The centrebet openers have already moved a bit. Blues out to -2.5. Hawks, Cats, Freo and Tigers are out a point too...

I certainly hope them calling is not the start of a trend.

I like freo to cover. They play pretty good in WA and the travel factor will hurt brisbane. And also they're shit.
Also considering a little play on crows +29.5. There's very little hope of us winning and hawks are obviously the team to best this year but we're playing a good brand of footy this year and think we could hang around as 29.5 is a big line. But i'll sleep on that one because there is the buddy factor who always destroys us and we never have anyone to put on him after losing bock and ruttens too slow.

Have gone with the extra lines for Sydney (-17.5) and St kilda (-14.5) in a double for 1 unit at $4.41, Think the swans should easily account for Port even at home (the swans are looking very sharp, and port have been made to look good by poor opposition on the day), and the saints are better than their first round loss to port, they should account for the struggling bulldogs.

Think I'll stay away from the rest unless I can get a good over for WCE/GWS. GL guys!

    69-150

I bet a few teams don't score 69 against the Eagles this year.

Did you watch the Eagles Giants game? Giants looked promising last week and very promising today. They held in there all day and even won the final quarter. If they hadn't let the first quarter blow out the score might even reflect it.

Suns have Ablett, but this young giants team is playing like a cohesive team already for Sheedy. I think they are a good chance to win a few games and finish ahead of the Suns once they get a bit more battle hardened later in the season.
