West Coast might have the advantage in the ruck but Collingwood definitely have the advantage in defence, with the midfield and forward line pretty even. The pies in the past month have really shown snippets of the Collingwood side that dominated this competition last year or two and at home, and I think at home they should edge out West Coast in what has to be the game of the round (other than the Sydney-Geelong game). Really confident with this one

The fact that Collingwood lost last week against Carlton makes me even more confident in this play, as I know Buckley would of had an earful into them and I expect Collingwood to prevail in what should be an entertaining game of footy.

Should be a close game but I really like Adelaide's chances here. They might be playing away from home but their midfield has been firing more and been in better form than Geelong's I expect them to fire up for the upset win.

2* North Melbourne -42.5 vs Melbourne WON

North Melbourne have been one of the hottest teams going around and I expect them to destroy a depleted Melbourne side are currently lacking a solid goal-kicking forward as well as structure all around the park.

2* Carlton vs Richmond -5.5 LOSS

Richmond have again returned to their disappointing ways but against a depleted Carlton side, they should have too much. Richmond are at full strength pretty much and Carlton are minus Judd, Robinson, Kreuzer, Walker and Simpson. This is pretty much Richmond's grand final. Lose here and they can officially kiss their season goodbye. Trends don't go in Richmond's favour with them losing 7 straight against the blues but I think that changes tonight.
