"Meanwhile, Breakers guard CJ Bruton confirmed to Radio Sport this afternoon he and starting point guard Cedric Jackson would rest in the final regular season game against the Blaze."

I think Breakers tomorrow night then Blaze sunday. I actually think the Crocs would also rather face the Breakers in the first round. The Wildcats have destroyed them this season.

    Round 25
    Saturday 24 March
    SYDNEY KINGS vs WOLLONGONG HAWKS
    Game Total OVER 161.5 @1.95

The Kings are by far the more athletic team & will push the tempo for easy buckets & crash the boards for 2nd chances. In return, the Hawks will bomb 3s all night. The total's been set high and we've had a low scoring round so far. The books have made their upward adjustments(as mentioned earlier in the thread) but it hasn't mattered as every contest contest has gone way under. Although this total is set fairly high, we have a good shot at hitting the over & extending the winning streak by one more.

Good call, NZ Breakers too good for the Crocs & it's most likely they take it easy tomorrow. So will the Blaze though, so who knows what'll happen in this game.

NEW ZEALAND BREAKERS vs GOLD COAST BLAZE
    Game Total OVER 166.5 @1.90

With nothing to play for & Breakers resting their starters, I'm expecting the intensity of an exhibition game. Both teams will set out to entertain the fans & have a bit of fun in the last game of the regular season.

The streak was broken last night, thanks to the Kings scoring 7 points in the 2nd quarter. That killed any chance of the over & sent them crashing to a losing finish to their terrible year.

Let's see if we can close it out with a winner today.

Good call on the OVER tonight.. pity that with 5sec left the Breakers didn't run it up and take a shot then it would have hit.
Farking hate that about basketball.. just take a shot!!!

Yeah, what a tough beat to end the season with, that's the NBL for you. Onto the playoffs.

    Sunday
PERTH WILDCATS vs GOLD COAST BLAZE
    Game total UNDER 165.5 @1.90

Wildcats will set out to slow the pace and make this one a tense, half court battle. I'm expecting Blaze to struggle with the intensity & it could be a blowout. However the Croc's huge upset proved once again that anything can happen in the NBL.

    Good work mate.
Tailed the UNDER tonight.. So very pleased!
Hopefully some good ops coming up in the finals

  9. #149

Thanks, a great win for us considering they scored 97 points in the 1st half & the under still cashed by 10 points!

Final score 85-70. That frenetic 1st half was a worry, but I've seen this all season in the NBL. The rest of the game had both teams grinding it out for points.

    Wednesday
GOLD COAST BLAZE vs PERTH WILDCATS
    WILDCATS +2.5 @1.90
    Game Total UNDER 165.5 @1.90

Wildcats totally outclassed Blaze last time and should be able to sweep the series, though it could be a very close game. Even if Blaze win they have little hope of taking out the decider. And anyway we'd get better odds of Perth winning the championship if it did go to a game 3(currently @1.75) so it's worth a shot.

Meanwhile the books are offering the exact same total again. I'm taking a calculated risk on this being a lower scoring encounter. Remember that Perth were allowed to hit 5 3pointers in quick succession last time. An elimination game turning into a shootout is unlikely, though possible as this is the NBL.

    Good luck.

I was surprised the total stayed the same as previous game, but i've tailed on the under.

    GL tonight.

  13. #153

AWESOME! Thanks XYZ! Tailed you on both plays for a bit of wednesday night action. Was looking scary at one stage for both plays but both came through

Passed on the rest of the semi finals after hitting these plays, just a great night. In game 3 both favourites covered easily but I didn't like what the books were offering on them. Now we have the championship battle between Perth Wildcats & defending champions New Zealand Breakers. I think it's too close to call though the Breakers should prove the better team.

With some healthy profits booked I've decided to wrap it up for NBL season 2011-12. It's time to reap the rewards & cash out! Thanks for the encouragement, I've really enjoyed helping you guys make money in this crazy league.

I'm back for another go at the NBL. We killed it last season, let's keep the winners flowing...

    ROUND 1 - FRIDAY
    PERTH WILDCATS vs NZL BREAKERS
    WILDCATS +3.5 @1.90 x1
    GAME TOTAL OVER 165.5 @1.90 x1

The Grand Final rematch kicks off NBL Round 1. In what could be a very physical game, the Wildcats are set to take care of business, though it'll be close & we'll see plenty of lead changes. If it stays close there should be just enough fouls to edge the total over the line.

Good luck today. The books have put out sharp lines for this game.

    Hey pal.

Wildcats are on the road over here and +3.5. I think they win tonight.

They are the better team right now.

  21. #161

Lol thanks Hawley, I was convinced it was a home game for them, a dumb error on my spreadsheet. I've updated the play, still rolling with the Wildcats.

Perth are the more polished outfit right now. Breakers had a disjointed pre-season and Abercrombie is only just finding his feet.

Perth seem hell bent on getting revenge here as well.

  23. #163

Good luck mate.. I'll be smacking up your plays after a great season last year + hopefully jag a few plays of my own

  24. #164

  25. #165

Wildcats won't be playing a home game for about 5-6 games I believe, our new centre is being built still. Love the Wildcats at the line and ML

Lets cash this Wildcats play. They have had a great preseason. Lets do this.

    HAWKS -6.5 @1.90 x1

Hawks aren't a top 4 team this year but have a more solid roster than the dreadful Kings. They should win by double digits. The Gold Coast's Adrais Deleon was one of the best players in the NBL last year and should prove an excellent addition to the Hawks.

That's it for today's NBL. The total has dropped to 164.5, but it doesn't worry me.

Love the play on the Hawks, I feel Sydney are such an awful team.

1q overs when the Breakers play at home cash at almost a 100% rate. Just a note but you guys don't get live betting do you?

  31. #171

Perth at a much higher level than the Breakers right now.

  32. #172

Wow. Bloody time difference. Its half time already.

Yeah, we don't get a home game in Perth for a while, but Friday nights at the new stadium is going to be rocking. There is a group of 20 of us who will be there each week.

I have no idea what you guys are on about a dropping line on the Cats total. Pinny juiced the over and I saw it at different prices at about 5 different books.

FWIW, I'm on Cats +140/+3.5 and o/164.5. Just fired NBL.tv up and it looks reasonable.

Are they playing tonight's game on delay though or live on nbl.tv?

Line was all over the place. It steadily climbed at Pinny most of the day. Other books opened higher.

The next game tonight is delayed on computer but streaming live on tab / mobile.

Perth were easy tonight. Had to take them with the BReakers raising the banner in front of them.
