Storm re a very well coached team and of course have 3 of the top ten best players in the world, but when the big games are played in September, the big packs of the Warriors, Cowboys and Broncos will be too much to handle. The thing is we are only in Match and the Storm make us good money, especially against wooden spoon contenders like the Roosters and Titans. I have been most impressed by the Broncos so far.

lol Angelo it was a figure of speech. No doubt september is a whole different ball game.

Not as convinced on nth qld this year. Bris has been ok this year, I can't agree that they've been most impressive. There's 4 or 5 teams ahead of them at the moment IMO.

  3. #423

I was expecting a closer competition this year but we've already seen plenty of one sided games. Parra are a complete mess, never thought they'd implode so early in the season. . So far, Storm,Bulldogs,St George & Broncos have impressed me the most.

  4. #424

Warriors and manly have been good despite their losses.

    Round 5
    Friday 30 March
BRISBANE BRONCOS vs ST GEORGE DRAGONS
    Game Total UNDER 36.5 @1.85 x1

Getting that 0.5 point could prove to be crucial, as some books are offering 36. Though I'm expecting a tense, low scoring game we could see an early try to the Broncos to make us sweat it out. Good luck.

40+ points so far with ten minutes to go. Terrible call, no excuses, I got this one dead wrong.

I have this one hitting between 38-44 and that's enough of an edge to roll with the over. Let's kick off Super Saturday with a winner.

A 2 unit play. I'm very confident this one sails over the line.

Maybe the over 40.5 on the Bulldogs/Titans was easy money, but passed on it as I never expected the troubled Gold Coast team would ignite a tryfest in the 1st half.

Expected the books to open this one at 42.5. TAB's offering great value & I'm taking a shot at the over for 3 units. It's at 40.5 in most places & still a solid play at that number. Good luck.

Unbelievable. Another game where the Broncos bomb easy tries & kill the over.

GOLD COAST TITANS vs SYDNEY ROOSTERS
    Game Total OVER 39.5 @1.90 x1

My apologies to anyone who tailed last night. That over was money 9 times out of 10. However I paid the price for overconfidence and took a 3 unit hit.

We should see plenty of points in this one. I'd be very surprised to see them try to grind it out. Titans were impressive last week & again will look to throw the ball around and take risks. However they're too undisciplined & Roosters have shown enough offensive flair so far. So I'm rolling with the over for 1 unit.

I clawed back some of the loss with a live bet, however it won't count toward my record. Another terrible game with bombed chances to comfortably cash the over. I've pencilled in a good sized play for Sunday & it'll be the last one for a while. This season has been a struggle from the opening round. It's not worth the hassle of putting in the work to keep getting hit with these tough beats. I'd rather kick back & just have fun watching NRL footy.

Warriors should prove too strong for the Raiders & get the easy win. Good luck today.

I can't believe it. For F**k's sake, Warriors shouldn't have bothered turning up today. That's it, I've had enough of this s**t. I'm done for the NRL season

    Round 9
    Saturday
    NZL WARRIORS vs BRISBANE BRONCOS
    Game Total OVER 38.5 @1.95 x5

Not much of write-up needed as the Broncos could light up for 30+ alone. Found this number at Sportsbet. Tab has 39.5 @1..90 & Centrebet's offering 40.5 @1.90. As probably the only pick of the round for me, have decided to load up for 5 units. Though as always, manage your risk accordingly.
    Good luck today,

A huge upset with the Warriors defeating the Broncos 30-20. As expected this one sailed over the line for the easy winner.

This should've opened at 38.5. With this kind of value it's worth the extra risk for me. If it plays out as expected we'll see 18 points at half time, with plenty of tension until it hits the bank at the 70 minute mark.

    Game Total OVER 40.5 @1.90 x2

I'm rolling with the over for 2 units. This should turn into a a Warriors scorefest, with the Roosters sneaking in for a couple of tries to get this one home. Found this number at Centrebet. Most books are offering 41.5 @1.80. It's still worth a play at that number though you may have to sweat it out.

After a slow start, the game kicked into gear for another easy winner as Warriors held off the Roosters 30-26. The Sydneysiders were on track for a last minute upset - until a concussed Minicello killed their hopes with the most ridiculous play-the-ball in NRL history. He didn't have a clue where he was let alone which way the goalposts were facing.

Finally starting to string together some wins! Playing with a much smaller unit size in the NRL this year & it feels a lot better to enjoy these games as a fan rather than stressing out over big wagers week in week out. I may have one more play for the weekend, depending on what numbers the books come up with. If not, good luck with the rest of Round 10.

    Round 11
    Saturday
    NQL Cowboys vs Penrith Panthers
    Game Total UNDER 41.5 @1.90 x2

With Origin depleting both sides they'll struggle to score and I'll be surpirsed to see it get past 34-36 points. It's tempting to make this a huge 5x play. However with Matty Bowen on the field anything's possible.

    Good luck.

    TAB's offering 42.5 @1.80 & Sportsbet 42.0 @1.85. I didn't get the best number with 41.5 at centrebet @1.90. Though as I was typing this they took it off the board & it's now 40.5 - a good sign.

The panthers won last week without Jennings, and this time round, they'll also be without Luke Lewis, but NQLD are without thurston, tate, scott AND tamou!

I think it would be worth it to take panthers + 6?

The Panthers have a good shot at covering this week, though Cowboys are tough at home & played solidly when JT was injured last year.

  32. #452

Buying out whlie I still can. What a f**n joke, they're gonna score 60+ at this rate. Sorry guys,

  33. #453

Rode out the half. Cowboys are terrible but the Panthers keep bombing their chances.

I grabbed a couple of live unders but they keep scoring.

Not watching the game. What is going on

I grabbed at half time over 43.5 @1.87. However as agreed earlier, live bets won't count towards my record. Though I really enjoyed the game, it's frustrating to beat the closer & have it blow out like this. Set for a big play on Sunday so time to move on.
