2013 pick tracking
I probably won't make a lot of MLS picks, but I am a big RBNY fan and might make some plays occasionally. I started for the first time yesterday with RBNY/Portland over 2.5, so...

More for my personal reference than anything else, but if it turns out good feel free to hop along.
Also became 1-0 in B-Ball yesterday too, but that was the world's squarest play on the Heat and I probably won't do it again.

I think that Philadelphia tomorrow looks to be a decent bet at Colorado.
The weather there looks to be snow (and a lot of it). I am not sure if that match is going on or not? I would lean toward the draw.

penetrate this is proving harder than hockey. Thanks to the dude who scored the empty netter in Anaheim to save face. I'm seeing why this is so difficullt. The lack of coverage of MLS makes it difficult to know what exactly is going to occur, but I want to try at least once more next week.

If you want the games you have to get MLS Live for $60, if you want reports you really just have to check the blogs and twitter of soccer writers in the us, most have good coverage of the teams but there isnt a lot for wagering tips.Originally Posted by hurricane1091

Stinky comcast does not have Direct Kick or I would buy it. I might end up with MLS Live though. Teams lose half their players every year so it's hard to judge what will happen in the early goings. 2-4 is pretty stinky, but if you watched FC Dallas game you'd be shocked that they lost. They should not have, end of story. They screwed up so many chances early it was bound to come back to haunt them. But yeah, I like soccer (MLS mainly) and would like to be able to bet it consistently to make games I don't care about interesting. Because no way in hell I watch FC Dallas vs Chivas USA unless money is on it.

Looking at Portland +500 and Toronto FC +450. Seattle looked damn good against Tigres, but conditioning may play a factor I would imagine in this one. Not sure if Portland can be trusted to hold a lead if they get it in Seattle so I will take the over as well if I go with this.
Toronto FC is a question mark. But at +450 you can't resist that action.
I'll be at the New York Red Bulls game tomorrow. Not sure why DC United is +285. I won't bet against my team, but I hinted you should last game. I don't think there's a play to be made here aside from the over, but if you want value go DC or Draw.
Sporting KC looks good as well.

I'm not posting my NHL plays. Not until I am convinced this thread is not a jinx.
Portland is going to tie so that play will lose.
I have a question if anyone reads this. Is it realistic to bet half a unit on a draw and half a unit on a team if both plays are over +300? Because hypothetically I could of bet $100 on Portland and $100 on the draw we will say for math sake. And Won $300 from the draw but lost $100 from the Portland bet, and still made out with $200. I've pondered it but never did it
And I don't think I can jinx this so my NHL play was Chicago with a few units on it. If they blow this 7-1 lead I quit everything!

I don't watch basketball at all, but I fairweather bet on the Heat and OKC ML.
I don't know why I have such shit luck in soccer, but I fair weather bet on the Pacers and that's going to cash. I don't watch any basketball, I just base it all off stats.

You're probably thinking why is this asshole posting losing MLS plays but not posting winners in NBA and NHL. Well I somewhat think this thread is a jinx after Chivas scores to ruin the bet in the 89th minute with their first attempt at goal, and New England somehow not tieing the game with easy opportunities. And I'm just basing all my NBA picks off of stats right now since I don't watch it really. I am actually positive right now even though so I'll still keep trying MLS for at least one more week. If the bad luck ends I'll post other sports. I bet with a local book and when the group gets up or down 3k, money is collected or distributed. Since the last 3k was reached...

I really have no advice as to how to succeed in MLS since I've never done it before. I've had opportunities where wins should have resulted and it would drastically change the current figure, but bad breaks happen. Revs should of tied and LA never should of got scored on in the 89th minute. If that happens the record is 4-8 and roughly -4.4U, but that's okay. Heat were down 17 tonight and came back and on, so you take your bad breaks in stride just as you take the good ones. Right now in MLS, there's no real understanding to who is good and trends of certain teams beating others (think LA vs Chivas, Houston vs FC Dallas, etc) are not staying true. Then games occur like this past one with RBNY vs DC United. I was at the game, maybe we scored at the end if goal line technology is in play, who knows. Two shots hit the woodwork as well. RBNY did everything possible to win, but drew and are 0-1-2. So it's tough out there right now. Other teams expected to be good like DC United aren't exactly killing it right now either. So it's wait and see for awhile I guess, and bet low units until then. BOL to all.

+2U going into today thanks to Anaheim costing a little bit yesterday. Will be going to the Devils game today and watching RBNY at a bar beforehand.
RBNY is without Roy Miller (a good thing), Cahill and Henry today. I have a feeling they play better as a result which seems odd, but I don't think I will make a play there. This week sucks because of injuries and players around the league on their respective national teams. But, the show goes on.

does you book offer asian handicap lines? if the draw and win pay more than +200 each then asian handicap might be a better option to take. not sure why you say is it realistic? I think most books should allow you to place the bet.
good luck grinding out mls, you can tell from the lines the books dont even have a good read on many games.

We need a win man, I was drinking at a bar so I can't really say what was good or bad about the game yesterday. But winless through four games is trouble. And MLS betting is impossible, at least so far. I mean if you read my input on RBNY I am pretty good with them but I will not bet against them.
I did a parlay on NCAAB yesterday for the first time. My last team in it was Syracuse -7. They won by 6 and the parlay was ruined. Sucks balls, but that and the SKC loss were the only losses and the day ends +2U thanks to St. Louis and Minnesota winning.
Going to the RBNY game today. Henry and Espindola may not play. I was out on a date last night and have to leave soon since I'm an hour and a half away. No plays today.
Put a play in on RBNY and the over with my local while in my seat a half hour before the game. Learned afterwards he did not put it in. Sketchy...
I haven't been doing soccer. Still fair weather betting NBA really well, and so-so in NHL. Did RBNY and Under 2.5 tonight, both win. Might start posting again.
Still not doing soccer. Somehow still doing NBA successfully without watching it.
