    MLS Soccer- Best Homefield Advantage in all of Pro Sports

    I was reading "Scorecasting" by Tobias Moskowitz yesterday and he had a graph listing all of the homefield advantage rates over the past 10 years in all of Pro Sports. MLS came in the highest at 69%!

    Does anyone have any further knowledge or expertise on this? Or any numbers?

    Hmmm....I don't know if it's so much home field advantage, or if it's more due to players playing half-ass. Watching a lot of MLS and it's easy to see the lackluster effort, especially when a road team is down a goal. It's almost like giving up a single goal equals defeat, even if the goal was given in the first half.

    So, I'd say that on paper it would look that way, but the game itself and MLS league tendencies is what's most important.
