    Default Big Brown to PLACE?

Needless to say everyone will be betting him to win.

"Safe bet, no value in betting him to win" bettors will bet him to show.

Everyone will be betting their fave horse to place, since winning is seemingly out of the question...

Will everyone forget to be Big Brown to Place and that might actually pay a little?

Are you saying the place Ticket will pay more than the win ticket, if you place Big Brown ???

If so, Is there a site that shows the pools for big browns number of win, place, and show tickets ??? I am assuming if the pool for the plc on Big brown is significantly lower than the win pool the plc ticket will pay more. Is this correct?

Yes its very rare but it wouldn't be the first time... very rarely you see 2.40 ... 3.60 ... 2.40 type payouts. This seems to fit the type of race that would happen.

Not a big jump but still funny to see Place pay more than win.

dude it was a genius bet..

I'm doing the same thing in the Belmont.. Smarty Jones paid $4.20 to place a few years ago. I think Big Brown will be 1/9 in the Belmont.
