Big Brown
If Big Brown is such a clear cut can't lose horse, whats stopping me from laying the +136 and raking in some easy money. I don't know crap about horse racing or betting but I know how to read. Just thinking about this right now, no bets yet. Let me have it.

Horse has never raced over this surface. Thats a risk. Off track is another issue, if its anything other than fast its a caution flag. There's always racing luck which is always a factor. Remember Barbaro?
Overall on paper its his race to lose. He figures to win. Its not free money but he should win tommorrow.

Another thing thats hard to distinguish is whether or not the Derby took so much out of him that he is just a disappointment... The last horse to win both the Derby and Preakness was Smarty Jones... And his jockey lost the Belmont for him... Remember we havent had a Triple Crown winner in 30 years... I dont think we will this year either..

yeh, good points but having a horse, boxer or what ever this good seems like only comes around ever so often. Just feels like a good spot to gamble big.

Yeah... Up to you.. If it helps any theres only 2 other horses in the field who have EVER won a graded stakes race.. They say its one of the weakest fields they have seen in years.. So i would definately say big brown should win... but theres always those outside factors ya know... but go big brown, definately..

The +136 Doesn't make sense to me! The morning line is 1/2 which is -200 in sport betting lingo.

Big Brown should smoke them tommorrow. As you guys already stated, the field is extremely weak because trainers/owners know they can't beat this horse. Gayego is the only legit threat, but he didn't show up in the Derby. I was hoping Bob Black Jack would enter this race, because I thought he would have a chance to steal it. I can't play a horse at 1-9 so I probaly won't have any action on in. Maybe a big exacta wit some bombs underneath BB, if the pools are right.
BB's performance in the Derby was unreal and has improved each race out. If he can save ground like he did in that 20 horse field then he should have no problem in this shorter field.
GL, maybe we can make some money on the undercard. . .

+136? you sure that isnt to win the Triple Crown?
There is no way your going to get plus money on this horse to win this race, you misreading that.

Im not sure how that works because +136 to me means, bet 100 win 136. . .
Good luck to you either way
