Welcome To the 1st SBR "Live" Open Challenge!


I am happy to be your host for this "Live" Open Challenge on this Last Friday of Feb.

I would like to take this time to explain all the rules & whatnot for everyone who will be playing. I will make it simple & to the point so there will be no misunderstandings what so ever! here they are .. Please Read Carefully! ...

1) This is a "Live" Challenge so your plays must be posted on the day of the challenge (Friday)

2) I will list the menu of tracks that you must select your picks from. They will be below the rules ...

3) You may play & post 1 race at a time whenever you so choose thru the day, or you may pre select & post all of your plays up front. However you want to strategize you picks is up to you. Your Picks must be posted B4 the race is OFF!

4) All Plays will be made for WIN Only!Since this is about picking Winners! Only 1 horse per Race may be selected! All plays & Winners will be based on a per $2.00 base amount.

5) You will have 25 Picks for the day! You Must have 25, no more & no less or you will be disqualified from the challenge!
You must post the result of your selection if it Wins with the Winning Payoff!

6)There will be 2 categories of scoring. One for the Most Winners selected out of the 25 plays. Second the one who has the highest positive Profits from the 25 selections!
I will do an update when everyone has 10 plays in, then at 20 & I will do a detailed list of all who participated for the final tally Re-cap! that will include the number of Wins & Profits.

7) All who will be participating must make a post & say "I'm in" by Noon EST. on Friday here in this thread! This way I can make my roster & no one can come in late & try to play after he sees what is going on with everyones results. No one can enter once we have started with the 1st Pick!
I want to make this as fair as possible & keep everyone on a level playing field!

8) Please be professional & respectful of all who are participating!

I believe I have covered the most important rulings, if anyone has any questions or can think of anything important I have not thought of please feel free to let me know!

Here is the information that will be posted with each selection!...

1) Track Name

2) Race Number

3) Horse Number #

4) The Post Time odds

I also will give an "UPDATE!" on all plays and Profits/Losses after 10 selections as time permits between races. All Profits & Losses will be based on a $2.00 per wager to Win!

On the part about posting M/L so to speak on the players for the outcome of the contest. I will not get involved in that aspect of it as I will be busy enuff with all the record keeping & tyring to play myself. Also I don't know the other players well enuff to even put a line on them. However if anyone else wants to do it feel free to put a fantasy book on all of us! Your thoughts are well intended but I will leave it up to someone else on that!

This is going to be a blast! ...

Remember all who enter you MUST say "I'm In" by Noon on Friday to be able to participate in the contest. Once you say your IN then you will have all day to make your picks. I just can't allow people who want to play to just drop in at any time. I want to keep this as fair as possible.
