Trying a few races on Saturday. Anyone playing Big A?

Race 5: No. 10 Children's Annex (WPS)/w No. 5 Not on My Turf in exacta.

Race 6: No. 6. Prideland (WPS)w/ No. 7 Diamond Isle in exacta.

Race 7: No. 6 Whistlin (likely a big chalk, so playing in Pick 3s only unless odds drift up; big field so maybe he goes off 2-1 or better).

Race 8: No. 2 Homerette (WPS) w/No. 1 Victory Pool in exacta.

OMG, what a bad beat to start the day. My 10 is 16-1 and clear second in deep stretch with my 2nd horse and gets nailed on the wire for place. Show bet equals some profit on the race, but if that 10 holds 2nd I'm playing with free money the rest of the day.

My second race Saturday was off the board (4th), the big chalk in the 7th finished 2nd and then more frustration in the 8th. Homerete at 5-1 misses by a neck, and my exacta horse was third (again). Small loss again on the day, but close to a nice win makes it so frustrating.
