Curlin
Circular Quay
Street Sense

The top 2 get much better runs in this race ... Street Sense ran a big race in the KD but lets face it, he ran about 50 yards less than most.

I am starting to lean toward Circular Quay again. My simpleton logic tells me that there is no real explanation for starting Circular Quay here. Todd Pletcher is a much smarter dude than I am. I gotta believe there is something he has seen that makes him want to bring CQ back for this race. I'm gonna watch the track odds tomorrow but I'm probably going to go with:

Circular Quay
King of the Roxy

I don't think I'll be betting any other horses besides these two and will probably go very easy on this race because I just can't get a good read on it. This Circular Quay entry has me absolutely befuddled.

Circular Quay should have run in the belmont. He had a real shot there. Why he is on a smaller track is beyond me. I bet some Churchill yesterday and watched borrel run. He ran on the rail every stinking time and kept getting blocked off and this is with half the field. Now I am more convinced than ever that he got extremely lucky.

Anyone care to offer a theory as to why Prado has chosen to ride C P West over King of the Roxy?

Street Sense is king of the class so far and is my choice to win the Preakness.I'm hoping his victory will spice up the Belmont card three weeks from now.Curlin figures to get a good trip from the four hole and is my second choice.Hard Spun for third.Longshot- CP West. Betting strategy/I've got doubles from Panty Raid working to S.S,Curlin and CP,plan to just bet a cold exacta S.S. to Curlin.
Good luck to everyone ,enjoy the race

Prado was the winning jock for Pletcher in the Black-Eyed Susan ... In an interview after that race when they were together, they didn't look too happy to be in each others presence ... So go figure.

What time is the race? Got to remember to stop by the track after the cardroom tomorrow.

CP West was a starter in the juvenile race on Breeders Cup day and despite running poorly was thought to be a contender for the classic races in the spring for Nick Zito. Prado likely committed to him at Gulfstream, figuring if the horse was for real he'd ride him through the Triple Crown races.

Problem was the horse got a late start and has been unimpressive in two starts as a 3-year-old. Prado likely giving him one more shot here, then he'll bail for future races if he's got a choice of other mounts.

Getting Garrett Gomex on Roxy is not falloff.

Street Sense definitely got a perfect trip in the Derby but I still think he was the best horse in the field anyway. I think he handles this group and wins again today. Just grabbed him at 9-5.
