    It's only $220.00...What the hell. If it fails so what? I am gonna place these now and hope that they win. I will be in and out all day after 11 or so.

    i like the crowd here...very nice.

    ramon dominguez is our choice in race 1. he is the best jockey on the NY circuit imo. Truffle Man is currently the 2nd choice at 2/1

    dumm question...I have no idea about horse racing...so how do you calculate our winnings or our losses ?...as I said I have no idea...thx

    basically if you're betting win/place like i am, you are calculating your results off of the win/place amounts posted after the race is official.

    here is an example from race 2 which we won:

    Win Money Paid - $3.90
    Place Money Paid - $2.70

    so if you did $20 Win/$20 Place as i did, the calculation is as follows:

    Win - $3.90x10= $39.00 (standard horse base bet is $2....so $2 x 10 = $20

    Place - $2.70x10=$27.00

    39+27 = 66-40 (original bet) = $+26 Net

    *remember that $2 is the base bet...so for $20 bets, $10 is our factor. If we were betting $100 to win, $50 would be our factor.
