Avalanche/Red Wings- Game 2
In the playoffs, I dont play game ones, as they are too unpredictable for my liking. Good for me as I would have been out of pocket. In game 2 between the Avs and Wings, I anticipate a more defensive style of play as these teams settle in. Game one was a 4-3 victory for the Red Wings, but the third was scoreless and more down the lines of the way these teams play. I expect a bounce back from Theodore after being yanked after the third Red Wing goal. My play will be on the under-5(Even). Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Theodore sucks. Red Wings 6-1.

Agree with you Dash, Game 1 had a lot of weird bounces and the play was not very crisp. I expect game 2 to be a tighter checking game. I'm on the under as well.

I'm leery of the goal tending of both The Wings and the Avalanche, plus I personally dislike betting under 5's in NHL.
The likelihood of a push (total goals 5) is very good and if the game is ever tied 2-2 a push is the best possible outcome.
I'll hammer the over when the number is 5 and I like the game but RARELY (not never) play under 5 goals.
I'm considering Detroit -1.5 +160 for a small wager.

Detroit ML is a good play IMO, I dont like playing puck lines or run lines, one bad bounce or deflection can change a 2 goal lead to 1. The value is better in puck line, but id rather risk a few extra dollars for piece of mind.

The Red Wings are much to fast for the Avalanche. This series is going to be quick. I'm thinking Red Wings in 5. The Avs were able to come back last game because the Wings got too comfortable when it was 4-1. The Wings are too skilled and quick. This isn't the same rivalry, as it was 7 years ago. I like the Wings today in a close, but decided victory.
