I'm still debating weather or not to take my chances with Pitt to win the cup this year Owned.

When I was looking at division futures earlier today. I felt that there just might be some really good value with Montreal to win that Northeast division.

Do you have that quote DoctorX79? Seems pretty insane to me that a team captain would proclaim prior to the season that his team has no shot of winning.

I think this division will be "a .500 team" will win it type division this year. I just don't see Buffalo or the Sens will play all that great this year at all.

The team captain told a reporter the Canadiens definitely have a team to make the NHL playoffs, but not to win a Stanley Cup.

It was a fair assessment, but not the message some felt the captain should be passing on to a young team that missed the post-season last spring.

But it made general manager Bob Gainey smile and say Tuesday that, "Saku spoke one line too many. Sorry dude but Buffalo is still very strong and the sens will be even better than last year...They got too much talent on both offence and deffence and a nice mix of young stars and verterants...
Even the Ottawa's 3rd line could be montreal 1st line!(well allmost)
Ottawa will finish 1st in the east thats for sure.
As for the cup they got real good chances this year just like they did last year...ok they lost in final against the Ducks but i predict that if they make the stanley cup final this year they will win it this time!!

How do you want Montreal ti win a cup...they will fight for a place in the playoffs...they changed about nothing in that team since last year.
I really dont see how they could win a cup.
We dont have any patrick roy to win it all alone like 1986 and 1993!!

You may know a thing or two about the game but you have alot to learn about posting etiquette and general respect for others opinions.

You will find that betting on a game you know so much about can be humbling, it's easy on paper, see how easy it is when you are actually wagering real dollars.

Bigboydan never said he was betting them to win the cup, just to win the Northeast Division. And betting is all about value not always who you think is the best team. And if Dan figures there is value in Montreal than he is making the proper bet.

Yes I did for 1 unit, however their still a lot of games left to go in the season though.
