Question for dog sharpies...

As were down now to the stretch run, i was just wondering if the fellow (dog loving) cappers felt the same way as I did. Normally I'm looking for good dog value lines but down the stretch, dogs are getting their butt kicked. I've had to change to looking for good chalk lines instead. I wonder is this an anomoly or every year picking dogs down the stretch doesn't pay off.
