The Vancouver Canucks go for their first win this season over Calgary when they host the Flames at the GM Place in a 10:00 PM puck drop.

The Canucks will look to get their first win versus the Flames this season after dropping the first two meetings between the two.

Vancouver (15-15-1) dropped a 3-2 contest at home to the Flames on Nov 11 before losing 5-3 last Saturday in Calgary. Markus Naslund leads the Canucks with 12 goals, Henrick Sedin has 26 assists and tops the team with 29 points. Robert Luongo has been between the pipes the vast majority of the season so far for Vancouver, allowing 2.52 GAA and holding a 91.0% save percentage.

Calgary (15-10-3) has won five of their last six, the only blemish in that span a 3-2 shootout loss at Minnesota a week ago. Jarome Iginla tops the Flames with 18 goals and 37 points while Alex Tanquay leads Calgary with 21 assists.

The Flames have won 10 straight on their home ice, but they are now back on the road for six straight where they are 3-10 away from home this season. The Canucks, 9-7 at home, are coming off an impressive 6-2 home win on Tuesday and should carry that momentum into tonight's match.

Play: Canucks +1½
