hey curious i know your martingale strategy on NBA quarters, and i think u have a rule for favs ML versus dog spread.. but do u have any sort of system for NHL?

from today it looks like u only do ML

any tips for someone new to NHL betting? i used to know hockey but i dont know it now, im more willing to learn this than say college bball

I don't "cap" the way most people do. I only look at raw numbers (pythag and log5, also goal efficiency differential). For NHL I am trying a "who's hot / who's cold". The who's hot and who's cold just looks at the current "streak" for the two teams in a game to see if I can find a hot team that is playing a cold team. I start by going back 3 games, then 5, then see if I can figure out when the current streak began.

I am a big fan of the ML.

For hockey, sometimes you can find real value in the pucklines where a +1 1/2 is under priced. I would start by looking for those.
