hockey is the best sport to bet on because there's a limit on how much wacky stuff can happen to mess up what the true result should be (pass interference, personal fouls, etc.) and there's a limit to how much the lines can really move. one can check out the percentages of where the money's being layed and bet accordingly (vegasinsider.com shows these percentages) if 100% is on the over, there's a good chance it should go over (consider there are professional gamblers taking advantage of a line that won't move). the only thing you need to consider is the value of the moneylines. if you like the favorite, but the mL is too high, consider taking the dog mL and the puc on the favorite. good chance a heavy favorite will win by 2 (even if close, good chance for an empty-netter). o/u can be tricky, but again, it's usually wise to follow the perecentages and professional hockey bettors. doing this, i find i've been up 4-5 units a night, 8 out of 10 nights. who the hell knows what's going to happen in the NFL and NBA. just take blanket dogs and unders. F those two sports, nothing ever goes according to plan. That's where NHL comes to the rescue

Go the the sports tag of which ever sport your looking for (nba for example) then click on "scores". it'll show you the games for the day, and the odds; and next to it are the betting trends.
