Ah yes, the losing skid continues. Was gonna sit today out, but this one I like.
Season Record: 12-11-1 Boston/Toronto OVER 5.5 (-105) How you gonna fade a Toronto team that has played the over in 9 straight? I'm not. These two teams have already met twice this season with totals hitting at 6 & 7 goals. TOR is still leaking goals at a great rate with 39 goals given up in their last 10. They've scored the exact same amount over that span, so the offense is doing well to keep up with the D. The Leafs have given up a PP goal in 8 of their last 10 while Boston has tallied a PP goal in 4 of their last 6, so that could be good news tonight. Toronto's PP has been red hot in their last four with 8 PP goals in 24 shifts. They'll need to keep that up against a Boston PK unit that has kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 6. Dating back to last season, in the last 10 in this series we've had 7 overs, 2 unders and a push at 6 goals. Toskala goes for TOR tonight. His last 8 starts would beat tonight's total. He's given up no less than two goals in his last 10 and has given up 4 or more in 5 of 10, including a 5 spot to BOS earlier this year. Tim Thomas may get the nod for BOS. He's given up 6 goals in two meetings with TOR. Check your pulse. I ain't skerd. The nurse shall fix us up with a win tonight.
