Arrow NHL playoffs Best Bets - Saturday 5/17/2008

I will do a daily recap of each days action. 10 units is the max/game.

Sorry but i will not count parlays, only straight up selections.

unit size will be the risk amount

if you risk 2u on +150; gain 3u if win, down 2u if loose.
if you risk 2u on -130; gain 1.54u if win, down 2u if loose.

good luck!

please let me know for any corrections and give me a line for the game it will make calculations easier for me

i will update standings on sunday morning.

early daytime games in sports like nhl and nba make it more of an even game . no real time change going on for dallas to put them at a disadvantage .

(body is more geared to perform better , eyes to see better) ... when on normal schedule you are accustomed to . like if i came to get you to play ping pong at 10am in the morning you would smoke me . but if we played at night i would most likely dust you off . shine at night vs dont perform as well in morning hours ..

is great to get a team from the west coast playing an early game with the 3 hours difference . is really like 10 in the morn to them so fade the team not used to playing a real game so early / off their reg schedule/routine . you know what i mean and could put it better maybe ... can be big !
this game does not fall into that category but i wish it did .

must add : any apply in mlb today ? no
giants were at pirates thurs 2 weeks ago in a 12:35 start time , pirates won 5 - 4 . sf had a 4 run 4th . dodgers were at brew thurs in a 1 :05 start game and this way of thinking did not work as dodgers won 7 - 2 . dodgers had a 6 run 7th inning . they woke up by then . a's were at indians that same thurs in a 12:05 start time , a's never woke up . 4 - 2 tribe . etc etc etc

would be nice to have the ducks in it today in a daytime game at home .
sorry went off topic but is interesting to say the least .
yes some of these guys can perform great no matter what time it is or what their normal routine is .
