Stars/Wings Game 5
Any thoughts on this game
The price is too steep in my opinion to play the Wings straight up.
The Over was tempting, but I stayed away.
Wings or Stars in regulation is dangerous, as there hasnt been an OT game in the conference finals.
I prefer not playing pucklines, but it has the best value.
I dont see the Stars winning this game, but I also thought the Wings and Pens were going to sweep.
Up to this point my only play is the 1st period over 1.5(+110)
The totals in the first have been:
Game 1: 2-0 Detroit
Game 2: 2-1 Detroit
Game 3: 2-1 Detroit
Game 4: 0-0 tied
Turco has never fared well in the motor city, and Detroit should really get up for the home clinch.
Is Detroit -1.5 the best play?

I think so... on top of the crazy crowd in Detroit, Detroit absolutely does not want to lose and travel back to Dallas for game 6 and potentially let them push to game 7. They end it in Detroit. The way these teams play, it may obviously be a 1 - 1 OT type game... But I see Detroit running away with it late for a 4 - 1 type victory... or, at the very least, you will have a shot at the empty net if Detroit is up late in the game.

The Wings were too tentative to start game 4, and that played right into the Stars style of play. Detroit's transition game is best played when they have a lead. I can see them trying to forge ahead early than capitalizing on a Stars team that will have to open it up.

Its easy to come out tentative when you know that only 2 teams in hockey history have come back from down 3 - 0. Even if you try not to it is easy to let your intensity down a bit.
No way you can have lack of intensity at home, and like I said, the last thing you want is Dallas getting a "win game 5 be back for game 7" attitude.

I completely agree with that. By the end of these two series, there still will be only 2 teams to come back from 3-0 deficits. Detroit should win this one, they have been unbeatable at home this playoff season, and that shouldnt change.

All my loose change is tied up in the Preakness, but I support your play in spirit. Good luck to both of us bud!

Im sticking with the first period totals hoping to come out with a win on it. Going to take a look at the Sweden/Finland bronze medal game and see if I can come up with something I like. Good Luck all

I took a small Parlay with Det (ML) & Over 5
Might not be the smartest play, but I think Detroit wins and the ML alone was way too much.
GL Guys!

Thanks ryan, Wings have started playing. Hitting, and skating hard. If not for Turco, Wings would be leading. Get in regulation

Adding Sweden/Finland under 5.5(-114)
Good chunk of Swedens team is playing right now for the Red Wings. Finland has problems putting biscuit in the basket. Both teams play trap systems(clutch and grab). For most teams bronze medals mean nothing. These two Scandanavian rivals hate each other, and the bronze is a source of bragging rights.
