this game solidifies montreal's chances for the playoffs even though a couple of teams have multiple games in hand on them. Boston is toasted if savard is out for an extended period of time. Atlanta has 3 games in hand on montreal but finish the year playing @was,@pit, n-j, @was, pit as well as 4 back to back games situations. Tampa also has 4 back to back games situations with 9 home/ 9away games left and rangers have 6 home/ 9 away games left. Montreal looks to be in a golden situation. Only 2 back to back games, 9 home/ 6 away games left and also seem to have an advantage on wins on every other team in case of a tie breaker.
