I have been playing for a week now, majority of bets in hockey, and sport a record of 50-28, for a gain of 32.52 units. Maybe I've been lucky so far, but I'm hoping thats not the case.
I am betting on every game in the NHL, every night, and am incorperating aspects of different systems, but it all comes down to what I want to play.
My goal, to win a single unit on each play. If that play loses, play again next time, to cover both bets, and still make your unit.
How I play:
If a team lost for me last bet, I'm picking them until they win to still win my unit.
If a team has gone Over in three games in a row, I play the under on the fourth, and follow it until they do.
Follow the Morrison system, kinda, but don't play the puckline, and be selective in the 'A' games. Playing the puckline can get very pricey, and one loss like this can ruin the profits from the whole year. Without playing the puckline, there would have been three 'series' loses this year, but that includes Carolina, an Anaheim team that was terrible at the beginning of the year, and New Jersey, who won their next game anyways, so we still would have gained our unit, without the giant risk.
If I have a tough time deciding on a game, look ahead at the schedule to see, if they lose, who has a better chance of winning their next game.
If I have two teams that have lost for me, and they are playing each other, I'm betting on both to win. I know one will win, and the other will win eventually. (This should be preventable though, for the most part, by looking ahead at the schedules.)
Anyways, some of my plays may look funny, but there is a purpose for all of them. Some nights, there will be a loss, but it will all be positive in the end. For anyone who wants to follow, good luck. For anyone who wants to watch for the time being, hopefully you don't miss out on too much. And for anyone that thinks I'm crazy, lol, I don't blame you, and good luck to you too.
I will keep an ongoing record, and units gained/lost, but because I have some plays that I am still playing because they have lost previously, I will not start a new record, but just carry over my current one.
Couldn't ask for much more last night, what a great way to start the weekend. Awesome turnaround from the couple previous nights. Lots on the schedule for tonight, and here are my plays:
I'm staying away from the pucklines just due to the money odds, but making up for that in the progressive chases, as you can see with the Ottawa bet. I'm still just after that one unit on that game, but also betting Anaheim because they lost their last game I pegged them to win. So far it's been working for me, and if you see a play I've made thats under three units, it's on a first round bet, which I've done very well at so far.
Will most likely play Pit tonight as well when the line comes out, doesn't really matter what the line is. Staying away from picking a winner in the Min/Phx game, and still may make a play on the Cal/LA game, leaning towards Cal at this point. May try and play one draw tonight too, lots of games that could be close, and I'm 1 for 1 so far on playing the draws.
I'll update later if anything is added. Good luck to anyone playing tonight.
By the way, Morrison says play the Canes on the puckline tonight. Does anyone see Carolina keeping this close?
Made out alright last night. Need to get a win out of Phili tonight, and Anaheim would be nice too. Might add something else, but those are the two plays for today as of now.
3-3 yesterday for a small profit. Tailed on three over plays last night and only hit one, which brings my over/under record to a total of 21-6. Not many plays tonight, as I'm invested in the Sharks tonight.
Well that didn't pan out quite as planned, lol, and took quite a bit of my profits from this season thus far. Tonight, the plan is to get it all back, and then some. Large wager on San Jose tonight, and a few other smaller ones. I'm feeling pretty good about tonight, not just for me, but everyone (unless your betting against the Sharks). Best of luck to all.
Alright, I can sleep tonight. Sticking it out with San Jose finally paid off, but they had me worried there early third. We're back on track, right where we wanna be. I will be making at least three plays for tomorrow, Buffalo on the money line, and the under in the Carolina game, and the Washington game, but I'm sure there will be more. Hope everyone had a good night, and lets all get out there tomorrow and win some more. Cheers.
