canucks are ending their 5 game road trip where they are 1-3-0 and have only scored 1 goal in each of their last 3 games.... they are also really banged up. but they have split with colorado this year winning 1 and losing one with both games being 3-0. colorado is 6-1-0 at home and anderson has been the best goalie in the nhl up to this point. i like colorado though they are still without hejduk and im with ya on the under...
yeah they decided to not show up tonight thats for sure... i dont think you can bury them though yet. we're 2 months into the season, this is the first time they have faced some adversity. now i dont think they are a cup contender, but im not sure they will roll over. gonna have to give them a few more games to see if they can pick it back up or not.
vancouver was a good play for the team total of 2.5 over. i watch teams that are in scoring slumps and just wait for a good opportunity to lay on them for a few goals. it's a lot better if they give you a 2.5...even though on many occasions 3 is good enough for a push.
look at the pens tonight. they couldn't do nothing for 4 games. sure it helped with malkin being back but still a 2.5 team total tonight was a solid bet. every team goes in slumps..goes on scoring streaks..goalies play well for a few games and have a bad game here and there. look for the time to jump on. no need to chase the plays. i'm sure if you keep a note of what teams have done you'll have a feeling of when they might "be due".
