Ward's knee was deeply cut by the skate of Rick Nash. Unclear how long he's out for. Is it safe to fade Carolina into oblivion now?

It wasn't like they were doing that well with him in net. I also don't think they lose 3 more in a row. 15 losses in a row is insane in the NHL.

I honestly am thinking the same thing. They weren't winning with Ward. So maybe bringing in some call-up will somehow spark the Canes. They may also go out and sign a free agent floater.
